Hanoi Hannah Express Lane reviews
58Used to be excellent! Went in to get a PHO for lunch on Saturday over the Easter break. Was told I'll be charged 12.5% extra because it's public holiday. Whoa! That's steep! So I got a take away.the broth lacked flavor and it seems while the price has gone up the quantity and quality of content has gone down! Disappointed considering it used to be my favorite PHO.
I ordered a pork belly “With” crackling Bahn mi, to my surprise I got two measly strips of pork with some stale store bought crackling sprinkled on the outaide. The picture clearly shows a large strip of pork with real crackling up the side, false advertising, cold food
Pho is sensational although the music is very loud And derrogatory. Makes it hard to enjoy the nice meal. Maybe music less polarizing and a bit quiter would amplify the experience here
The pork belly bahn mi was incredible! Everything about it was perfect. Juicy, soft and tasty pork. Toasted bread. Crunchy veg. Sauce. Service was very fast too.
The photos are not from Hanoi Hanna but from a new restaurant right next door called Balagan, the food was exceptional, wine list small but perfect for the food I can not recommend it highly enough. Keep an eye out as it will be the new kid in town
This is probably one of the most delicious viet food I have ever tried outside Vietnam.
My soup was amazing, staff were really nice and, last but not least, it is cheap too. Definitely coming back
Not the best nor the worst I have had. My PHO lacked the basic flavours. Price is good and the staff are ok but let down by Food.
Serves up delicious eats and the best bloody mary in Prahran. Definitely worth the time and dollar for healthy relaxed eats with friends or solo. A real must try
Very tasty, authentic, relaxed eating, but just so you know only the smaller takeaway restaurant is currently operating!
The food was amazing, i love the broth cz it was not very strong and it’s balance with the noodle. The staff was very nice. Excellent speaker. Highly recommended:)
So happy to have visited this place! Pho and pork belly slider was delicious. Can't wait to head back to try more of the menu.
Used to be amazing at express lane but the last time i got a bahn mi it was sloppy and couldnt eat much of it.later making me really sick
The food was crazy.we tried green spicy curry and it was magical. Plus we tried chicken pho and 2 more items and they all were tasty. Gonna visit again. Service is great.
Food was delicious and fresh, atmosphere was great, staff were really friendly.
My only negative comment would be that the men’s bathrooms only had a urinal rather than a regular toilet option also. Obviously it’s no issue to use the ladies’ as they’re right next to each other however some people may be funny about it.
Such yummy dishes and well priced. Awesome cocktails. Our fav yet in the area. I think this beats mr miyagi and hawker hall but don’t come here in big groups it’s a date night place
Great place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of Chapel Street. Cool little restaurant with sensational food. Rice paper rolls, sliders and pho just to name a few of the menu items. Friendly service and a delicious glass of rose topped off a great Sunday lunch. Make the effort and visit for a quick and authentic Vietnamese meal.
Hanoi Hannah is a convenient option for dine in or take away in the prahran area. The menu has a variety of items that suit all dietary requirements. I usually opt for a soup of some kind and while it is quite expensive compared to viet places in Richmond etc the broth is great and the ingredients are fresh.
The sides on offer are usually very good as well. The Hanoi spring rolls are a favourite. There are not many places in Melbourne that serve them like this.
