I went in looking for a leather jacket to wear while riding motorcycles, I'm a tad rough around the edges and was I shocked at the service I was met with. It was hands down the best service I've ever received in a retail store ever! The jacket designs are gorgeous and it was hard not to buy two!

Love shopping at this store! Not only are you always guaranteed beautiful pieces of clothing, the service is second to none. Dani and Rosa are so helpful and lovely, it’s like shopping with your best friend. Dani was amazing when I bought a leather jacket, customising it so that it was absolutely perfect; nothing was too much trouble. Yet to wear something from here that doesn’t receive loads of compliments. Thank you so much!

Over two weeks ago I was on holiday in Melbourne and while I was there I came here to look for a leather jacket. The service I got was absolutely amazing! Dani was lovely and she went out of her way to help me find the perfect fit and style for my body type and skin tone. She definitely knows her stuff and I've now got a beautiful leather jacket which I'll have for years, so Dani, thank you!

So great! I walked into Halo & Hutch on a whim after trying on many bad dresses along Chapel Street without any help from retail assistants. The experience at Halo & Hutch couldn't have been any more different: the expert sales assistant chose so many dresses for me to try on which suited my body type and colouring. I purchased two great dresses and a pair of sandals for a family event and holiday. I received so many lovely compliments from my boyfriend's mother and grandmother about the dresses and sandals. Thanks so much for your help - I couldn't have found a dress without you!

My mother and I were shopping along chapel street when we came across this beautiful shop. I had been looking for a leather jacket for a while and Danni helped me discover the perfect style/fit. They are now custom making the jacket that I preferred because it wasn’t in store. I am still blown away that it was no trouble for them to make me a custom fit leather jacket at an incredible price! I work in luxury retail and the experience I had at Halo & Hutch exceeded the standards of most luxury brands! Thank you for making me and my mother feel very special

Unfortunate customer service really missed the mark when they forgot to disclose their returns policy. When I tried to return an item I had purchased only the previous day, I was quite aggressively told that it was stated on the receipt that they did not offer returns, and that she didn't have time to tell everybody in the store about their policy because "it was was too busy". The irony here is that one has to make a purchase to receive a receipt. I understand small businesses need to make a profit though not at the expense of customer service. Disappointing.

I will not be visiting this store again. I picked up a dress off the rack and the manager said "don't take things off the rack if its not going to fit you. " Firstly, how can she make that statement if I prefer to have clothes that fit loosely. She then went on to say "I've been working in the industry for years, I know your size. " These statements can be offensive to certain people. Terrible customer service.

I wouldn't hesitate to drop into this store when in Sth Yarra. Came into the store and purchased a gift voucher. The staff were really helpful and the store has a great range of product.

Beautiful dresses but terrible customer service. I drove a long way to buy 2 dresses and I spent only 30 seconds because of the staff rudeness.
Not need to say that I didn’t buy anything.

Unfriendly owners/ staffs.asian came in, said nothing just looked at me. White customers came in, big smile and greeted them. Not once this happened its every freakin time I drop by. Would have been happy to purchase few nice stuffs but you guys need lots of work with your costumer service.

On a recent trip to Melbourne, my daughter and I visited this gorgeous shop on Chapel Street, to be greeted by the owner, working tirelessly on the Sunday afternoon.

What an absolute delight! The clothing in this shop is amazing! Quality clothing, beautiful leather jackets and bags - we were in heaven! And nowhere near the prices of the other shops on the strip.

The shop was extremely busy, but Danni - the effervescent beautiful owner - was able to juggle all her customers, with her excellent service and amazing ability to co-ordinate and "size" all the customers with a glance! She truly knows her stuff!

With limited volumes available of each item, you're pretty much guaranteed to be the best dressed lady at any function, without worrying about someone else having the same outfit - and the best part - everything is so affordable.

Being out of state, we now purchase online and the service is just as great! This is now our 'go to' shop for great, fashionable clothing. Do yourself a favour, the next time you're strolling along Chapel Street, this is a must on your shopping list! You won't be disappointed.

I came across Halo and Hutch when a friend of mine shared your post on FB and I fell totally in love with one of your dresses! I called the store and spoke to Dani and she could not have been more helpful. My item arrived in no time at all to my home across the other side of Australia.

I popped into the store for the first time this week. I was really impressed by the quality and reasonable prices and bought a gorgeous khaki suede skirt that I just love!
