Halliday Park reviews
57Love this playground. Good playground equipment, convenient parking, toilets for kids.clean bbq spots.
This is a brilliant park. Good amount of play equipment, nicely spread apart. Ample places to sit. Barbecues, some covered tables. And lots of green clear spaces to run all around the outside.
Lots to do here. Pack a picnic, kids playground with flying fox and water play, plus big open area to run around
Lots of different equipment for different ages and abilities. Lovely trees and green. Very busy
Great park! Lots of tactile things for kids and great open space for games etc and generally a well maintained place.
Public toilets well maintained too.
Beautiful park with great facilities for young families, including large playground, large grassy open-area, clean toilets with change table, and 4 BBQs with at least half a dozen small tables with bench seats mostly shaded by trees. Decent parking lot, but can get full quite quickly by 10: 30-11am on a nice day.
Good sized park, plenty of room for ball sports, seating & picnic tables, has public toilets, playground for the kids & has drinking fountain with catchment bowl for the dogs to drink from. Gravel walking path around park, car park is a little small though. Good for dog walking (but due to size of park, it won't be a long walk).
Great park however can become very overcrowded on sunny days.
Kids equipment is good however doesnt promote group play.
By far the best park in the area! Huge flying fox, dam water play, toddler play area and large BBQ facilities.
Come early to ensure a carpark.
Beautiful park, great play equipment. Just be cautious with kids around the flying fox area. There's no barrier plants to distinguish the flying fox from the walking area. Children often run right through it and can be easily bowled over up someone coming down on the flying fox.
Other than that a great park all round
Very big and your child can be out of eyesight in 2 seconds. I don't understand why parks especially this size don't have fences with a single entrance to make it easier for parents to monitor comings and goings of strangers and their children. And for safety for dogs and roads too. Maybe I'm paranoid. But honestly this should be something council people look into for all parks
My family loves this park, as it has sone cool playground equipment (i personally love the flying fox and big round tyre swing). There are bbqs, picnic tables and and undercovered area which makes it ideal for kids parties.
Large park with great facilities for families. Picnic shelter, playground and toilets. Attended family gathering here yesterday. Sunny day and many people but plenty of space for everyone.
Great playground, very interactive with your children. And a variety of different fun areas to play on. Big patch of green to have a picnic and bbqs near by.
Lovely park with a large variety of equipment for kids to play on. It is well taken care of and new looking. The public bathroom is neat and clean and cleaned regularly. Great park in general.
Great playground for all ages with flying foxes one seated for younger children and the other for older children. Playground is situated in the middle of the park so away from traffic and quiet. The car park is down where the sign says bowling club. Lots of seating and BBQ area with shade, there was 3 parties and it didn't feel crowded. Great for the whole family.
Very good park/playground there there is a rocky path great for bike riding and waking along and there is also great playground equipment it has plenty of grass for some soccer and, cricket (no pitch) and there will be a basketball court coming soon. And 5 BBQ and plenty of space for party’s
I have been to this park, it is very nice to play for kids and also for kids parties and picnic place. Does any one know how it will be during really hot days like 39 degrees over this week end? Any recommendations or advise better to host party in the park during hot days at 4pm? Welcome on suggestions.
This has been one of the most underrated parks in the outer east. An expanse of space big enough to get lost in, with good playground facilities, open areas for sport and plenty of tracks for every two legged and four legged family member. A gem.
Good variety of play equipment, best suited for younger kids. Large, leafy trees to provide plenty of shade. There were a few broken equipment which is a pity, the water play section wasn't turned on either. Plenty of parking when we went and overall a nice little park.
