Experienced some of the best customer service in a while! Ruby went above and beyond to help me find the right products and was so friendly and kind

I had an amazing young lady called Ruby help me out, she was incredibly nice and patient I will definitely be coming back!

Marie was amazing. She accommodated me for a hairstyle last minute and gave me this wonderful look. I felt so lucky to have accidentally stumbled into the store and come out with a fantastic look. She managed everything around the salon and looked well after every client. She went above and beyond to style my hair that would suit me the best.

Staff were very helpful in buying some products and appliances. Marie the hairdresser was amazing - she squeezed us in to make us feel better in attending a wedding - after a traumatic few weeks and significant injuries. Many thanks and appreciation. Caroline and David.

I just had the most amazing appointment with Marie at South Wharf today. She went above and beyond with her friendly and welcoming service. Her advice and recommendations were especially tailored for my individual needs which was fantastic. I definitely recommend her for your next trip to the salon.

I came into the store and was greeted kindly by a male worker, he was extremely kind and asked if I needed a hand looking for anything, to which I responded I was “looking for things I didn’t need”, he laughed with me and advised there are value packs at the front of the store which may interest me if that’s what I’m looking for. I immediately went to the front of the store and another female worker was there, she then informed me the de Lorenzo treatment was on sale for $10 when it is usually $30+.
She advised how to use this product and said it was amazing, and I had realised I actually needed a hair treatment (so of course I bought 2).
Both of these workers, who I unfortunately did not get the names of, had amazing customer service which is the reason I shop in person. She also signed me up as a member for Hairhouse and advised me that I would receive points when shopping and informed me that every fortnight Hairhouse has a VIP day where there are sales.
They were both extremely kind, and helpful, they related to the customer, recommended with their own experience and were able to have a chat and laugh with us.
These sales assistants shed light on hair house as a brand and how well you train and treat your staff for them to be so inviting, knowledgeable of their product and kind to their customers.
If I lived closer I would visit this store every time simply because of these sales assistants.

She listens, explains, and recommends what she thinks, and she is without a doubt right! Have been to hairhouse south wharf couple of times for a hair cut now. Marie is a professional hairdresser who listens to customers, is confident and does a great job. Happy customer and would recommend this place.

I would normally never go out of my way to leave a bad review since everyone has bad days however on this instance I do have to communicate this.

Went in yesterday to get some jewellery changed over in my ear piercings, very simple job, my piercings are over 15 years old and fully healed.

First thing I thought was weird is that the pink haired guy (the piercer) who took me back into the room did not offer any customer service in terms of asking how my day was or making any conversation whatsoever, literally not even 2 words. Did stop on the way to make conversation with his female colleague while she informed him she was going to straighten her hair, to which he replied ‘go girl’.

However when it came to me, I sat there the whole time awkwardly in silence.

He then struggled to even remove my first piece of jewellery which I put down to the fact that they’ve been in for a while and must have been tight. Then put in the new one, struggling again and pinched me with his nails and the tweezers accidentally. I let it go.

Moved onto the 2nd piece, could not get it to close and clamped my ear again with his hands. At this point I’m wondering if the guy has any experience whatsoever.

Moved onto the third, again, struggled, and when putting in the new jewellery lost grip of the tweezers and clamped my ear quite hard. It was extremely painful. He just mumbled ‘sorry’ again barely 2 words.

Absolutely incompetent. Anyway, I left, and 5 mins later felt my ear was wet and I touched it and it was bleeding heavily on the inside! Could not believe it. He MUST have seen the blood, and didn’t even bother to alcohol wipe or sanitise in any way.

I have never had this happen in the 20yrs of having all my piercings, never had a painful or difficult changeover.

All I could think was thank god I’m not getting an actual piercing with this unsanitary employee.

Sorry to give a bad review it’s not a reflection on the actual store just the piercer himself.

Five stars, the piercer there Priya is just one of a kind. Lovely service, always with a smile. Ask for her!

Hairhouse Southwharf is in such a convenient location, and they are always super helpful.
When we go for shopping trips at South Wharf, we will always drop in to Hairhouse!
