Hairhouse Fountain Gate reviews
43Hi I really love the hairdresser at this salon they are all so nice and helpful. I had a new style cut today by Ashley she’s fantastic very nice and very skilled. I’m so happy with my haircut thanks heaps Ash would highly recommend
Nice store layout, found what I was after very easily and had a good variety of product, so I even found things that I didn't know I needed. Over all, fine experience
Went with my Mother today to get our hair cut. We hadn’t been to this salon before, but trusted the Business name to uphold good service. My Mother & I were seated next to each other, though unaware of what was happening regarding one another’s salon experience. Firstly, although my Hairdresser was more communicative with me, it felt like a very impersonal experience where the focus was more on measuring my hair to donate. I didn’t quite feel like I was being involved in the experience so much as being told what is being done. After a while I look over to my Mother to ask for her input on my hair as I was quite concerned about what the result would be, to find my Mother almost in tears, and experiencing anxiety over what had been done to her hair. It was cut so short it couldn’t even be styled. And looked absolutely nothing like the photo my Mother had shown the hairdresser. To the point that it had been shaved underneath her neckline. I was sat with half of my own hair cut & unable to comfort my Mother as she stood trying not to cry & desperately wanting to leave. Yes, after stating that my Mother should not have to pay a cent, the fee was waived. But the damage emotionally had already been done. And now my poor 60 year old Mother who just wanted a wonderful experience at a salon & to feel good about herself after a fresh haircut, came home in tears with no idea how she could even do anything to her hair to make herself feel even marginally better. The hairdresser who cut her hair had no empathy or reaction to how my Mother felt, simply saying “oh well, it will grow back”. Will not recommend at all!
