Well just had the most terrible Mexican? I have ever had. Awful. Something called a beef burrito, and I paid more for the beef brisket only to get a mouthful of soft, slimy fat buried in with the meat. $16 bucks! If I had had more energy I would have taken it back. Never going to bother with this chain again.

Fresh, delicious, cheap, quick mexican food. Great service and overall a nice lunch. I love that it’s free range chicken as well- that tastes bloody good. Also i recommend signing up to the GYG app so you can get a free burrito and earn points.

Was having a bad day and I messed up my order but the staff that served me were polite and patient with me as I struggled to get it right. Food was great and service fast. Thanks very much.

Waiting for the order for 30 minutes and the girl asked 5 times what’s the order and 5 people who order after me they instantly got it that’s not fair

Always have amazing food at this GYG, fries were crispy and well seasoned and the burritos were well filled and had a good distribution of ingredients. Nice restaurant always kept clean. Loses 1 star in service purely because it took a while to get our food but was well worth the wait! Will definitely revisit.

So I imagine you use the same spoon to serve the meat, veggies and the rest. I asked for a cali burrito with veggies and I found a few pieces of meet in it.
I don’t recommend any vegetarian or vegan people to go there

What happened to this place? I never leave reviews, but the pork burrito I just had from here was one of the blandest things I've ever eaten.i swear GyG used to be decent

Wasted $25 on warm chips and a burrito that was missing most of the ingredients ordered. I've given up on this franchise, this is the second store

Always a long wait for food even when pre-ordered (up to 45 mins) standing there on multiple occasions.
Have had a few meals with items missing (chips/drinks)
Always loved GYG but South Yarra is below average at best unfortunately.

The worst restaurant Australia has. They have rats inside the premises. I wonder, is that what they do to the tacos?

Very nice branch. Food is almost always perfect (had a couple of times where i barely had meat in my enchilada or portions were smaller than usual).
Sometimes its hard to get aknowledged by the staff, especially if you pickup your order.

The store is very busy during the evening but seating is always available as most people order delivery.

I love the bowl, with chicken and salads, so tasty but sometimes if I order extra chicken, I don't get it.

This place has slowly been going down hill. Theres always a tiny amount of tomato and coriander in the burritos which are so bland now!
Also my Quesadilla came with no cheese.it's kind of in the name. Essentially paid $5 for a burnt tortilla. Last time i'll be ordering thats for sure.

Someone from Head Office needs to come to this store and retrain the staff on how to make the food. It is so different in a bad way from all other GYG store.

Placed an order over the app at 6.20pm for a pick up at 7.00 pm. It’s 7.30 pm now they just started making the order after we asked them twice where our order is, making us miss an appointment. Still waiting…

I normally love Guzmans, I order quite regularly but Guzmans in South Yarra doesn’t even deserve the one star I’m giving them. Their staff need to learn to read orders and requests correctly so I don’t have to end up throwing away my meal. There is no care taken, there is not one time I have had a good experience with the Guzman’s restaurant in South Yarra. The most useless Guzmans and the worst staff.

Loved the ambiance, and loved the place and the staff.
I love mexican food, and the place didn't disappoint.

I would like it if they had a sauce dispenser, like they have in the store in city.

New app is terrible, cannot order food because there is a "problem with my order" cannot seem to accumulate points either and cant update personal details. Also raised the app prices - BIG SHAME.
