Grill'd Malvern

I order a dynamic burger and they add some extras without asking unfortunately my son is allergic to those thing.

We live around the corner. Every time we walk in, the flooring that takes you to the back section feels very greasy and slippery, we have brought it up before however nothing seems to be done about it. If it was my business I would be concerned about an OH&S issue particularly for staff.
It almost give you a feel of the place not being very clean.
The back section also where the toilets are is very dirty.

Great burgers and chicken bites, and chips of course! Usually REALLY fast but has slightly slipped the last couple of times. Nothing to fuss about though, probably training new staff. Excellent shop!

Absolutely not worth the money. The burger patty is made from poorly mixed mince.very dry.and in the end there was black hair in the barbie combo pink sauce. Also tables were dirty and greasy. Very disappointed.

I've always been a big fan of Grilld and the food here was fantastic as always, but the staff were also very friendly which was so nice to experience!

Consistent! Every Wednesday night, I get a mustard and pickle burger on a low-carb bun with Zucchini chips on the way home from the gym, and it’s always good. The staff are friendly, and it’s fast too. A car park is conveniently located opposite too.

The Grilled app is terrible, and the barcodes never work. But I don’t think this is the individual store's fault.

I ordered a fable burger tonight on the Grill’d app. It tasted a little strange, so initially I thought they must have run out of this vegetarian patty and replaced it with the impossible burger. A few more bites, and I knew something wasn’t right. I then investigated the packaging to find the word “wagyu” written on the tag. Absolutely disgusting to replace a vegetarian option with meat. This may have been an honest mistake, but I won’t be ordering from Grill’d ever again. I’d caution other vegetarians to be reconsider & go to one of the many other burger places that offer delicious and consistently meat-free vegetarian options.

If I could give no stars I would! No receipt given, Lost my order and made the order again wrong - TWICE! It took Half an hour for one burger & chips! Frustrating take away experience! Too long for one burger!

Decided to come to Grilld Malvern with some friends at around 9: 30pm and called up to see if their kitchen was still open.

Minh, who picked up, was super friendly over the phone and told me that we were all good to come in!

Once coming in, we were served by the legendary Orlando who made our night all the better by not only being super kind and friendly, but super funny too! Orlando really went above and beyond by making our time at Malvern Grill’d 10 times better.

The food was perfectly cooked and some of best Grill’d I had had in a long while!

Mixed Experience at Grill'd Malvern - Delicious Food but Disappointing Cleanliness

I recently dined at Grill'd Malvern with my partner, and our experience was quite a mixed bag. On one hand, the burgers and chips were delicious and served quickly. They were juicy and fresh, which was a plus. The waiters were also polite and attentive when we were leaving, asking about our experience and wishing us goodbye.

However, the state of cleanliness at the restaurant left a lot to be desired. The floor was filthy, covered with leaves and food debris, and we struggled to find a clean table. We eventually had to ask the staff to clean one for us, which they did with a dirty, smelly rag. The open fridge window in the kitchen was also visibly dirty, and the restroom was in a deplorable state, with a raised toilet seat and an overall unhygienic appearance.

It seemed that the restaurant was understaffed, and the focus was primarily on Uber Eats orders, with bags of takeaway food in a warming oven at the front of the shop. The waiters and waitresses seemed lost, with no one appearing to be in charge or guiding them. The kitchen staff appeared to work well together, but the front of house desperately needed experienced leadership.

Additionally, we were charged $5 for VOS water but received Cool Ridge sparkling water instead, which was quite disappointing.

In summary, while the food at Grill'd Malvern was tasty, the lack of cleanliness and apparent disorganisation in the front of house left us with a negative impression. Until there is a clear improvement in cleanliness and management, I would hesitate to return or recommend this establishment.

Sam is very nice and also nice chef very friendly natural I like this guy. A nice place to satisfy hunger. Best wishes for their service growth.

One of the best burger joints in Melbourne! Friendly staff and amazing menu with reasonable prices. Will definitely be back!

Wasn't too happy about vomiting up my lamb burger, can't think of any reason other than food poisoning I wasn't drinking. Also chips are often soggy or been sitting out for far longer than the burger. Only reason I don't give 1 star is because mistakes happen and grill'd is generally decent although pricey, although may bring down to 1 star if there is no follow up, which looking at the other bad reviews seems unlikely the shop cares.

We always have a great experience at this Grill'd. The staff are friendly, the food comes quick and tastes great. The heater's outside are great for winter!

Service is always spot on and exceptional, very friendly helpful staff and they all are very nice to my dog and bring her water to the outdoor tables which are quiet and relatively private away from the main road. Highly recommended

I had a vagyu burger with bacon and some fries. Cost $28. Bacon was burnt/black, fries below average. Fries must have been sitting there for some time as they were cold. I will definitely not be back

Sloppy, ordered online picked up the agreed time and no order. Then tried to charge me a second time…Absolute shambles…

Incredible food however I do prefer when everything I order and pay for arrives, especially when it’s the second time this has happened. Let’s hope next time I’m not third time unlucky.

DELICIOUS burger! - just delicious. Can't remember the last one I had that was so tasty.

I ordered a vegetarian burger and received a beef burger! Such poor service considering your burgers on your vegetarian menu are named completely different to the meat ones. Not good enough!
