Grey Shark Fish & Chips

This place used to be the best.

Sadly it's just not good anymore.

The Ph service always make mistakes with orders, poor quality fish, cheap oil, who knows what other corners have been cut.

What a Shame.
I just found a new fish n chips which is called Mako’s fish n chips. It is amazing place，just try.

Great fish and chips. I ordered the value pack for 1 and it was very good value. The flake was well cooked, chips, potato cakes were crunchy. The food came out in a light colour suggesting new oil used. I observed that the husband and wife team (only guessing) were very friendly towards their local customers. Give them a try!

Ordered here for the first time tonight and I have to say how happy I am to find a fish and chip shop with decent chips, crispy, fresh and actually taste like potato. Good serving sizes, Barramundi was grilled and fresh, no complaints, this is now my local

Grilled fish excellent, chips good, potato cake not quite as good. They accept card payment which is great.

Don’t know what all the fuss is about. Calamari rings are processed.
Batter pretty average. Obviously a bit overhyped. Had better. Sorry just my two cents.

I have been here any times since moving to the area. So glad it's now my local fish and chip shop! The fish is ALWAYS perfect, fresh, plump and delicious. Chips are also always a winner. Very much enjoyed a couple of burgers, dimmys and potato cakes here too. Service is excellent, speedy and friendly. Cleanliness is great. Price is very reasonable.

Tried Grey Shark F&C based on a friends recommendation. It was really delicious! The flake was really fresh and the batter very light. Chips were also delicious. This will be our new Fish and Chip place!

Polite and friendly service. Quick turnaround on the food, which was delicious. Grilled fish & Chips - crispy chips, tasty fish that fell apart nicely. Will be back. (Wish they had EFTPOS though)

These guys did a great job of our order of $150+ and they managed it without batting an eye AND no mistakes. I found them a little oily for my liking so that's the 4 not 5 star reason. Would recommend. It was my first experience of Grey Shark and I wasn't disappointed.

Close to Maroondah hospital so can be a nice change from hospital food for patients or those just visiting.
They will deep fry, grill or steam the fish for you. Good serving of chips.
They don't take cards though. Cash only.

Have been going here for a long time now. Always has fresh fish and chips. Staff are friendly and is very well priced.
