Lovely food at a reasonable price. Lunch meals are very good value. Social distancing practised appropriately.

Wonderful space and delicious dishes with very good service. I will turn back many times for sure.

Great service and even better food. Well priced, try the chicken satay! It's the best you will find on Keilor road.

Ordered Tom Yum soup with prawns, paid extra for prawns and got just one prawn in there, the soup was too salty as well.
Also ordered Fried Noodle with seafood, again got just one prawn in there, the sauce was terrible. Paid $40 for this which i believe for the quality is very overpriced. Big disappointment.

Love the omelette. Fried wontons and the spring rolls. Wish it was closer to home but worth the trip every time. Staff are always polite and friendly. Support awesome places like this!

Review is based on a takeaway order. Ordered 2 entrees and a noodle soup. The stuffed chicken wings were definitely the highlight. Great flavours that had me wanting more. Unfortunately the 2 other items ordered were dreadful. The prawn and pork rice paper rolls were nothing but rice paper filled with rice and noodles. A sliver of pork and prawn that you couldn't taste. Also no mint or other asian herbs. Boring and bland. Finally the pork and wonton noodle soup was by far the worse soup of it's kind that I've had. Super lazy cooking. Broth tasted like water with chicken stock cubes. Wontons were tasteless and instead of using bok choy or choy sum, iceberg lettuce was put into a bowl of soup! Dreadful. This review may seem harsh but it's an honest appraisal.

I can't see your website unless I'm on facebook, I don't have Facebook and I want to read your menu, I know your food is good but how can I order take away from home if I can't access your menu

Staff were friendly, food wasn't the best asked for pork dumplings they said they have won tons instead which was fine but they tasted like they were reheated in a microwave.

Great Atmosphere, amazing food and the portion size is HUGE.had the Pho and the spring rolls AMAZING.

Always a wonderful experience everytime we come to this place. Beautiful staff and delicious food as always. We also had my son’s christening celebration here and they did an amazing service. Everyone had fun and enjoyed the food. Thank you so much.

Very nice and quiet place to eat dinner or lunch. Staff are very cooperative. Not the best Pho i ever had but still love it.

Love the food here. Lots of variety to choose from and the food is absolutely delicious. Staff were welcoming and very accommodating. Really enjoyed having dinner at Green Bamboo and look forward to having many more gathering with my mates here

My wife and I visited the Green Bamboo with 2 friends for dinner on a Thursday night and I wish that we hadn't.
All of us had dined there before and all of us wished that we had left it at that and not returned.

The restaurant which is quite spacious was near empty but for 2 other tables. But despite this the 2 waiters did not attend on us and had to be called to take our order after we had been seated for about 15 minutes.

The young male waiter was totally out of his depth, did not have a clue about any of the dishes and had to keep going to the kitchen to get answers to some basic questions about the dishes.

Interestingly when asked if we could have a meal without MSG, the waiter checked and was honest enough to inform us that all the food did have MSG.

For entree we ordered:
The Satay Chicken & Spring Rolls.
The Satay Chicken did not look nor taste anything like Asian Satay. They were thick pieces or chunks of chicken with pieces of vegetable in a short skewer - like at a home barbecue. There was no proper satay sauce and the chicken was not well grilled and cost $9 for a plate of 3 skewers. I'd score it (2 out of 10)
The vegetable fried spring rolls were tasty but served with a very small side of lettuce and 1 sprig of herbs. (6 out of 10)

For mains we ordered:
-Battered Chicken - Run of the mill battered fried chicken pieces in sweet lemon sauce. I've tasted better at most food courts. (3 out of 10)
-Stir Fried vegetable with chilli; No taste. No chilli It was insipid. (2 out of 10)
-Singapore Fried Noodles: which was quite tasty but with hardly any meat. Still, it was the only meal that we all enjoyed. (7 out of 10)
& finally 2 serves of
-Special Combination Fried Rice.
This was the most disappointing dish of all. To me Fried Rice is an indicator of the quality of a Asian restaurant. This was not fried rice - it was over-boiled rice with bits of carrot on it. There was no taste of egg and it reminded me of take-away fried rice from the 80s.

Perhaps they were having a bad night, perhaps the owners were not in attendance but I did hear my friends inform me that they would not be returning to the Green Bamboo. Neither will I.

Delish, as always. Our go to for Pho. Their Laksa is surprisingly good too. As is the Vietnamese iced coffee. Mmmmm.

Had a birthday dinner here for my wife. Food was great service was a little slow but saying that it was a very busy night. Staff was very friendly. All in all was a good night out and not over priced. I would recommend to anyone

We shared a variety of dishes and all were generous portions and very tasty. Salt and pepper calamari and satay beef were my favourites. We will be back again.

Food is quick, service is quick. Pho is one of the best. Ambient is okay. With affordable price and tasty meal I will come back.

The best Vietnamese food, the pork is juicy, tende and marinated in some special crazy good sauce I can't get enough!

Hi all what a great place to eat. We had vegie spring rolls, satay skewers, chicken and sweet corn soup, San Choi Bao, vegetable fried rice and crispy egg noodle combination in oyster sauce good sized portions great service from all the staff not forgetting Phoung we have always been treated well. Thanks to our daughter Jessica for putting us onto this one.
