Had the Spanish class today and couldn’t be happier with it, food was delicious, got to take the leftovers home and the recipes, Laura was a great teacher and managed to pack many different dishes in. Would definitely recommend

I attended the Patisserie Masterclass: Macarons, Pastries & Fillings last Sunday. It was a generous birthday gift and such an incredible learning experience. Laura is a lovely, warm and generous person and her teaching skills are excellent. I have attended several cooking classes in Australia and overseas and Laura rates very highly in terms of knowledge and expertise. The Gourmet Kitchen Cooking School facilities are fantastic. I look forward to attending more classes in the future and also to the opening of their new restaurant in May this year.

Had an amazing afternoon at the Gourmet Kitchen Cooking School. My partner and I received vouchers for Christmas to do a Thai food masterclass. This was the first cooking class we have done and Laura made everything clear and easy. The food was great and we had heaps of fun:)

My sister and I got vouchers for Christmas to attend a class of our choice so we chose the gluten free baking class as my sister is wheat intolerant and I have several gf friends.
It was great being taught how to make your own gf flour, bread, focaccia, scones, pizza dough, brownies and lemon tarts.
Having struggled with gluten free baking by using the gf flour at the supermarket, I was thrilled at the tips given to us in the class - I appreciated that Laura took the time to explain why certain tips were important to gluten free baking. We also had a vegan person in our class so it was great trying both the vegan and non-vegan options.
I look forward to baking some of the other recipes in the recipe book we were given, and making my own gluten free flour!

What a way to spend an afternoon. Walked away with a stash of patisseries I couldn’t have ever dreamed of making in my own kitchen. Somehow Laura is patient and calm; yet detailed and meticulous and manages to breakdown and simplify very complex recipes.

Plenty of variation and plenty of opportunity to snack on what you’re baking along the way. I walked away searching the other classes available, that is how enjoyable this was.

Wonderful experience! I received a gift voucher for my birthday to do the cakes mousses, macarons and coulis class and boy did I learn a lot! Laura is a passionate and excellent teacher, with such a beautiful spirit. And hats off to Renata who worked SO hard prepping, and cleaning, and baking for us, while we learned and did the fun parts of the class! Renata also made THE MOST AMAZING scones for afternoon tea. I am so keen on doing other classes with Laura and can't wait for the restaurant to open so I can dine there! Well done on providing an unforgettable experience, Laura and Renata x

Wonderful day! I can never get my herbs and spices right when I try Thai cooking. Now I can approach the task with much greater confidence. Laura explained all the ingredients and led us in a hands on cooking class with a great range of recipes for five hours. All our questions were answered, some handy short cuts were demonstrated and we shared the magnificent recipes that we had prepared. Unreserved praise! Thank you Laura.

Took another class in 2018. This time I completed the spanish cooking class. It was just as much fun. I took a lot away from it. Laura is brilliant & informative at guiding you through the cooking process and showing you the small details which you can't get from books or online videos. Highly Recomended

Just completed my 2nd cooking class and will go back again. Laura's classes are great because she gives great technique tips and you get a chance to 'have a go'. I learn much better that way. Oh, I think I forgot to say, the food is delicious!

Whether you're a beginner or come with experience the Gourmet Kitchen is a fantastic place to enhance your cooking skills. A warm and relaxed atmosphere makes it a great place to learn.
