This was such an incredible culinary experience. Laura the owner was first class in her teaching and supporting the class. I enjoyed the entire experience.

My husband and l just completed the Thai Cooking class. We both enjoyed participating in the class and now feel confident to explore our new culinary skills. Thank you to Laura who generously shared her knowledge and experience. We had so much fun, making and eating delicious food in great company.
We will definitely see you again.

I’m sad to say, my partner and I were really disappointed with the food. We truely wanted to love this place as it is close to home, also I did a Thai cooking glass several years ago and the food was so flavoursome, sad to say it wasn’t last night. Started with the barramundi in buns (a little like a bao). When the waiter asked how the dish was we told him that it was tasteless and that the barramundi was not fresh, the waiter said that all there seafood is fresh and that he would notify the chef of our disappointment. Next we had the seafood paella, the rice was nice but once again the seafood was tasteless, in fact my mussels had broken shells which was in my rice and one smelled off. When asked how the paella dish was, we both didn’t have the heart to say we were disappointed, so we just said the rice was nice. Lastly our dessert (which we shared) the Davidson plum & pistachio bombe alaska set, honestly I hate to say this but it was truly disappointing, nothing like a bombe alaska should be, once again totally lacking in flavour, the macaroons on either side of the dish were cold and and a bit soggy, tasted like the dessert was pre made and in the fridge for a few days, only the fresh strawberries were nice. I was forcing myself to eat it because I didn’t want to hurt there feelings which is silly I know. I gave Gourmet Kitchen two stars as the waiting staff were fantastic and the ambiance was lovely (expect for the flickering light). Not sure why it gets such a high rating, I can only assume it may be due to the cooking school. They were also gracious enough to take the barramundi off our bill, which we weren’t expecting, so that was very nice of Laura.

The food is delicious and the staff is super lovely. Wine was really good and reasonably priced.

We had a gift voucher (Redballoon) for a 5 courses vegan dinner. Fantastic, each course, so creative. We will be back, no doubt, with friends and family. The Mango & Coconut Semifredo was outstanding, I will come back just for that alone! Great staff and service.

Customer service (white blonde girl) was so bad. At least Smile if you dont want to communicate with your customers. While paying bills no thanks nothing even though I reminded her about a missed item,

Food was ok. Tuna ceviche was not fresh, baramundi skin was slightly burnt. Mix paella was OK. We booked just by seeing those good reviews but disappointed. Food was apetizing but as soon as it goes to your mouth, all goes in vain

Incredibly delicious and creative food we were blown away and such generous portions too for tapas one of our favourite restaurants. Service was wonderful, authentic and friendly. Highly recommend

We had the 5 course dinner for 2, it was a set menu. The 5 course were tuna yum, lamb ribs amazing, squid delicious and the pork belly with chorizo sauce was out of this world. Dessert was a dome cake and were to die for. The hardest thing was which on. We had the passionfruit bombe and rasberry white chocolate mousse cake. Laura was a fabulous host, very personable. Do yourself a favour, and have a meal at Gourmet Kitchen. Highly recommend

I celebrated a milestone birthday Gourmet Kitchen on May 21st of this year. Laura Jane and her team did an amazing job to ensure the day ran smoothly and enjoyable for myself, family and friends. She was very accommodating to my requests prior to the day and went above and beyond.

The food was amazing. All my guests were commenting at how delicious the food were. The dessert table that she created for me was absolutely gorgeous and not too mention scrumptious.

Definitely recommend Gourmet Kitchen for any milestone events or to just have a nice intimate dinner with love ones.

Had a wonderful evening here, got the vegan banquet, 5 courses was just right for 2 people. Food was very very good, some really ingenious creations, excellent wine choices too. Will definitely be back for dinner and cooking classes!
Service was impeccable, warm and friendly.

Had the 5 Course Vegan meal for 2 at Gourmet Kitchen tonight. Absolutely FANTASTIC food. And they happily accommodated for our nut allergies. Chef's kiss!

Had a great time today completing the 5 hour Thai masterclass cooking class - Laura and team were fantastic, the day went so well and there was lots of hand on experience. Everything was delicious and we are so inspired to continue at home.

Attended the croissant making course and it was amazing. Being able to do a 3-day process in 5hra and take some dough home to practise at home as well is brilliant. Well structured, organised and enjoyable plus delicious end results that are mouth watering brilliance.

The place itself is cleaned, fully contained for various classes whilst Laura and her team are devine, helpful and full of wisdom they are eager to share.

Thank you Laura for an amazing experience! The fish and Seafood class was easy to follow as you are very patient and a great communicator. We tasted all the food, there was lots of it and it was so delicious! Thank you also to Renata. We can’t wait to try a different class next time.:)

First time came for dinner and everything was just perfect! Service very attentive, food incredibly delicious and good price. Highly recommend the croquettes and calamari.

We were there for a wedding, we were told “just “ canapés and drinks,
I was mesmerised by the food, every single dish was tasteful and designed perfectly,
It was the best food I have had in a long time,
The staff were so friendly, happy and fun,
I would rate 10 star, love it

I had been wanting to check out GK for a while, and finally went for a wedding reception, which was well worth the wait!
All food was amazing and made on premises, from the Kataifi wrapped prawns and macadamia hommus Parmesan crips to the lamb ribs and paella! The stand out for me were without question the duck cigars.
