Gourmet Curry Hut Indian Cuisine reviews
82Tikka chicken is really great! It’s my first time trying indian food and this place is excellent. Can’t miss out to try the garlic nann
I couldn't fault this place. One of the best indian restaurants in Melbourne. We got the butter chicken and lamb madras - supurb! The value for money is incredible. The staff are warm and welcoming.
I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at this restaurant. The comforting Dal Soup and the delightful Reshami Kabab made for a memorable meal. The cozy and inviting ambiance added to the overall experience.
The Vegetable Samosa at this restaurant is a must-try. The Chicken Chaat Puri had a perfect balance of flavors.
The service at this restaurant is impeccable. The Onion Bhaji served as a tasty appetizer, and the Chicken Tikka was cooked to perfection. I left with a smile on my face.
This restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes. The Fried Fish was crispy and flavorful, and the Tandoori Chicken was a highlight of my meal. I can't wait to return!
I went with my friends yesterday. The food was extraordinary tasty compared to the other common dishes from the rest of Indian restaurant I have been before. Staffs was friendly and respectful. Highly recommended of you want to test Indian food with international style.
Absolutely authentic delicious experience! I’ve been with my partner multiple times now and we love the service, food and aura the restaurant provides. It’s nicely in an alley way of Melb cbd and quiet enough to share a romantic meal
We had a fantastic meal and were served by the delightful Breed. She did a wonderful job of serving all of the tables single handed. Well done. We will definitely return
I started having dinner here as this place is at walking distance to where I am staying in Novotel Melbourne on Collins. However, the food tasted delicious like right in India and I continued coming here for more than a week now and I will continue to come here for remaining 3 weeks, while I am here.
Parteet (Preet) here is very sweet and I like the way she speaks with everyone and ensures that the level of spiciness everyone is looking for is what they receive and she keeps a watch on everyone to have a good customer experience.
I will continue to come here, while I am here for 3 more weeks!
The tandoori chicken was so delicious, it’s juice, not dried. The prawns curry is quite tasty, spicy enough! Thank you
I have visited this restaurant and I have very good experience.because food are very delicious and all staff member are very cooperative and I enjoy the food alot.
Photo: vegetable samosas.
Super busy restaurant. Food is good, they mostly serve curry.
I guess it's better to book a table, because they're very busy and you might not get a table if you just walk in.
We waited for our food for over 1 hour, but staff is super attentive and kind.
Food is tasty, a little bit expensive and small portions but I can tell they serve good quality food.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant
I’ve tried Indian food for first time ever (as I don’t like too much spices or curry) in this small and hidden restaurant and I really like it. Everything was delicious and yummy. I couldn’t take any photos as I was super hungry. Not suitable for date or having fancy foods. It’s kind of having delicious street foods in small restaurant. Also, their table are a bit small as we couldn’t fit our food on table.
I will definitely return if I want to have Indian foods.
Thank you
Dinner was absolutely delicious. The staff were wonderful and attentive especially Luvjit.
The Madras curry was our favourite full of flavour, we enjoyed it all. If we didn’t live in other state we would be back regularly. Thanks for a lovely night and the fireball shot
The food here is definitely top tier Indian food in my opinion. I came here with my family. There were 10 of us so understandably the service was a bit slow.
Overall, still a great experience.
I would go back here again for sure.
Really good Indian cuisine! Staff really friendly. If you like Indian food.make sure to visit this place. You will not be disappointed.
Delicious curry, and reasonably priced. Staff really friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit here.
Authentic curry can be found here. Onion bhaji was so crispy and flavourful. They also have meat lentil which is quite hard to find.
Does not even want to give 1 star pmese avoid this place.
Was roaming around in city and found this place for a quick lunch and went up there, ordered food around 2.30pm and got my food only at 3.00pm waited for 30min for a simple order of roti and jeera rice
The other table person was also showing unhappy with the wait time.
Then the food came in and was average as well.
