WE JUST DINED AT THE GOR GAI THAI RESTAURANT. I MUST SAY THE FOOD WAS JUST DELICIOUS THE PAD THAI WAS TO DIE FOR. THE YOUNG GIRL WHO SERVED US WAS JUST SO VERY OBLIGING AND HELPFUL. WE R VISITING FROM PORTLAND AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE. Congratulations and well done. The

Spacious and family friendly venue. Beats many Thai restaurants in Melbourne hands down. Delicious crab fried rice and Tom yum. Absolutely loved our meal.

Beautiful tasty food, not expensive and really decent serving sizes. My partner and I got 2 share plates, a main each and 2 drinks all for under $60. We will definitely be back.

Went in for a quick lunch wanted larska but was told don't do it here can u go down to the other restaurant no I haven't got time so order something else and fried wonton service was quick but eat the wonton to find it was quial egg inside it I couldn't eat it put off my dinner refund was given but didn't help that I couldn't finish my lunch.next time I will look carefully at the mebu

Great food. Great service.good location.highly recommend the salt and pepper squid. Did not taste like rubber rings. Dropped by for lunch on Anzac Day. The Cafe was very busy. My friend was after a fresh made sandwiches which they were very flexible to make it for him.

Having lived in Bangkok I know what good original Thai food is and this restaurant does a grand job of meeting expectations. Very possibly the best, very best Thai food I have had in Australia. Highly recommend. If you like original Thai food, tell them when ordering, you'll not be disappointed.

This little Thai place is just perfect. Great service, amazing panang curry cooked very nice. I am so pleased I was able to eat here and enjoy while I was visiting Ballarat.

Amazing! The sukhothai soup was one of the best Thai dishes I've ever tasted and the serving size was very generous. Would recommend to anyone looking for authentic quality Thai food

How I heard of this place: Our trips to Abbotsford to visit our good, long-time friends always included an additional drive to North Vancouver for Persian kabob and all the yumminess that goes with it. On a recent trip up, we were told a newer place had opened up and the food is good enough to forgo an additional one hour drive. We gave it a shot.

The food is awesome! I love their chicken pad thai, bring back my memories when i went to Thailand with my hubby. Very authentic taste best thai restaurant i've had in Ballarat

Amongst a number of other places to eat is Gor Gai and after a quick late lunch I came only a few minutes before 3pm. Couldn’t eat in as they were closing up so ordered a takeaway Pad Thai with chicken. Portion size was good. Chopsticks and fork and napkin included even though I asked not to have them (carry my own).
Took only a few minutes and was soon back on the road.
Staff were nice and helpful. Big dining area and no doubt being new is starting to get some traction with locals.
Note: wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking out the front but metered.

Amazingly fresh with some amazing GF options. Love the Chive cakes and Son-In-Law eggs. The Pad Thai is a must and the ginger stir fry is great.

Good service, delicious food, reasonable prices. Having lived in Thailand for a couple of years, I have eaten a lot of Thai food. We really enjoyed our meal. ️

Food was delicious, service was friendly, courteous and non-invasive. Will definitely enjoy this again without the fussy kids in tow!

Truly authentic Thai food in Ballarat. Surprisingly there are not one, but several very good Thai restaurants in Ballarat and this is one of the best. The taste is what you will find in Bangkok or Pattaya, with very large servings (unlike Thailand) and reasonable prices. Everything done well and they tailor the spiciness to your level. The wine if you don’t BYO is priced very well. Tod Mun Pla excellent (sorry no photos). I have been back to this restaurant several times, and each time the standard does not change. All 5 essential Thai tastes are balanced in the dishes.
