Gor Gai Thai Food reviews
57They serve very tasty Thai food. Flavours are almost authentic. Service attitude is very nice.
I came here for my 18th birthday and it was the best thai food I've had since visiting Thailand. Tastes authentic and beautiful with lots of care, and the servers are very polite.
Was pleasantly surprised at how yum the food was. And greeted by Thai cultures with a genuine “sawadikap” felt warming. We order padThai and Pineapple fried rice- probably most Aussie dish, sweet side for me.
Khao Mun GaiTod was delish, my son loved it
SukHoThai noodle soup & GorGai Noodle soup were absolutely yummy!
Delicious food on a cold Sunday night. Open late which is a bonus. Lovely prompt staff. Thanks!
Delicious and always consistent. Friendly staff too. Recommend the Pad Thai and green curry!
Wow, this Authentic Thai.
The spices and quality of presentation
Once food is ordered, only 5mins to your table.
Expertly done.
Will be back for another night soon
I can't go past the massaman curry, although I've sampled much of the menu.
Have visited many times, used their delivery, and picked up.
All have been good experiences, and although not cheap, it is worth it.
Staff are attentive and mostly helpful and have been able to cater to complicated dietary requirements.
Parking can be difficult, as the time frame demands more than the local council considers necessary, and access for less agile from the street is awkward.
It took so long to get the food served. The Tom yum taste very good, the sourness is perfect. The minced chicken was too salty to our taste. The pineapple fried rice was a bit soggy and lumpy. The deep fried tofu (entree) and the stir fried crispy pork belly are good food. The price and portion are still reasonable.
Food was delicious, came out very quickly and servings were big. Great service, very attentive. Enjoyed the local wine on the menu as well.
I ordered Kor Moo Yang and sticky rice it was excellent.tasty and fresh. Definitely going back

Gor Gai is my first stop when entertaining out of town visitors, as the experience also captures some of the Ballarat atmosphere from outside to within.

Delicious food, reasonable price though crowded so a bit of wait for the food to come they did tell us it will be 1/2 hour wait, good ambience
I called to ask about my order,
The lady was nothing but rude and abrupt and HUNG up on me.
When I called back she wanted to cancel my order
We waited 1 hour 45 minutes for our food, i understand it is the long weekend but do not cut off a paying customer!
I will never order from here again!
Very disappointing! And thank you for ruining our meal with the extra chilli!
Food and service were amazing during our trip through Ballarat that we went back for more on the return leg.
Our family had our New Year's Eve dinner here while holidaying in Ballarat. This is one of the best Thai restaurants we've been to. All the food are flavourful and mouthwatering. The staff is friendly and professional. Service is fast and efficient.
Awesome food. Lots of Veg option. Stick steamed coconut desert is now my new favourite Good quantity compared to other restaurants is bonus.
Beef larb was great. My noodles (Chiang Mai style) were amazing. We got lost looking for another restaurant, glad we came across this hidden gem in Ballarat. Will definitely be back
Really nice Thai food and friendly staff. Lots of gluten free and nut free options. We had a large group and they catered perfectly. Highly recommended.
Yummy. I had green curry and sticky rice. Was nice and creamy.
Great service and nice vibe. Would visit again
Visited last Sunday for dinner. The food was tasty again but I was very disappointed with the small portions. The chicken massaman had 3 bits of chicken and 3 pieces of potato. The pork belly had about 6 of the smallest cubes of pork that I have ever seen. Thank god we had ordered entrees.
