Goodlife Health Clubs reviews
61 Classes are good, locker are clean still hunting a pt that not clash with my Timetable.after holiday
receptionist last Sat so friendly Amy
Really more like 3.8. The facilities are okay, staff are nice.however the very early close times during the week and even earlier closing times on the weekend are a serious let down. Should be open until at least 10pm weeknights. Wouldn't cost them much at all and would make the visiting times a lot better.
Worst direct debit management I had to deal with, ever! And goodlife doesn't do anything to support their clients, always passing the problem to Debitsucces!
Just kind of mid and ick - the spa water is tepid and doesn’t have a decent chlorine smell but I’m assured it does get checked. The steam room was not hot and wasn’t clean and the sauna was tiny and someone spat in it. Great caring staff, working in a place that desperately needs an update
Great gym, never too busy and always plenty of space and equipment free! Also - very friendly staff.
I'm giving it 1 star because the facilities are in really bad condition. The owners should invest in their business as everything looks a bit dirty and tatty to be honest. I will continue to go because they are one of the few gyms that do Les Mills near me.
I'm a regular but very disappointed that the spa has been closed for over 4-5 weeks and not fixed as they don't want to spend money on chemicals. Myself and many others use the spa every time we go and to not fix it is just ridiculous. Very slow to fix necessary things at this gym.
* edit: now over 2 months later and still no spa, very sadly run*
Don't go on automatic debit, they will invoice you incessently despite cancellations or temporary holds. I've had memberships at 2 different Goodlife gyms and had the same experience.
Front counter lady is lovely but the rest is Terrible the worst machines dirty old. Shavaughn She is the rudest trainer she’s terrible, she takes the equipment forever won’t let you use it soo disgusting
Since Mitch Talbot has taken over as club manager, the gym has improved
Paper towels, sprays replenished.previous mgr didn't care
And there's a buzz of energy back
Good bc Armadale used to be a great gym
Great gym!
Only thing I'll say is I just wish the personal trainers would clean up their equipment when they're finished rather than leaving a mess wherever they're training a client.
Also hand soap is never filled in the toilets.
Other than that great friendly staff!
Have been with Recreation, now GoodLife for more than 20 years ; the Wet Area facilities, heated swimming pool, sauna, spa, steam room, in my opinion, are the best in the area at an affordable price.look forward to enjoy GoodLife in the future, especially under the New Management.
It's ok. Has a pool, spa, sauna, steam room. The several floors it occupies is a bit cumbersome, having to go up and down.gym equipment is okay, not that plentiful, but does the job.
The gym facilities are okay, but the shortage of carabiners for the weight machines is unacceptable. ️ I'm considering buying my own to take when I train. ️
Love coming here to use the pool/gym. I find the staff very accomodating and proffessional.
A reasonable club, other than out dated interior and sub standard cleaning. Helpful staff and a great instructors. However, the class participants are horrid, entitled members who will verbally and physically abuse, which mgt refuse to address even though on surveillance tape, if you inadvertently stand in their spot. Better Goodlife clubs to attend.
The cleanliness of the club has deteriorated badly - especially the wet areas, sauna and change rooms/toilets. Terrible shame.
Good range of equipment and the facilities are clean and kept in good condition. Very handy to have a pool/suana associated with the gym for a complete workout and the ability to just relax as well.
Love the Active Adult classes (combination of cardio and strength) which are held three times a week at Armadale.
