Gladysdale Bakehouse reviews
72The most tasty pork belly fancy sanga yet! Wow, this sandwich blew my socks off. The pork belly was cooked perfectly, and slightly seared for extra flavour. The onion jam paired perfectly with the meat, cabbage and lovely bread. Couldn't ask for more. Will return if passing through.
Been coming here for a few years now. All the food is to die for and the staff are always friendly. Great place to take the family for a filling breakfast.
Always a great spot to stop for a meal. Hot pies hot coffee and yummy desserts. Something to suit everyone's taste buds.
This bakery has the best toasted egg, cheese and relish sandwich I have ever tasted in Victoria! The service and staff were very polite and professional. Highly reccomend!
We took some what of a detour to the bakery off the back of a recommendation. We have one regret, that our destination was so far from this bakery! The family pie which we took with us was delicious and the breakfast bagel was next level.
Will definitely be back!
This Bakehouse truly has one of the best pies and pulled beef sandwiches I've ever tried! My partner and I love going to bakeries around Victoria and this has to be one of our favourites by far! They use such quality ingredients and the flavour profile is phenomenal! Highly recommend this place ️
So impressed, great variety of pies and good coffee. Exceptional service from counter to table. Had a chicken carbonara and the unbeatable plain steak pie. Good almond milk in coffee too. Love their variety of pastries as well on other visits.
Good Food, Bad Attitude.
I've been coming here the past few months, the food is good but I was very taken aback by a comment I heard as I waiting for food on Labour Day.
I heard a man say from from the back of the shop that it "must be oriental day at the Gladysdale Bakery" obviously directed at the various families occupying the tables at the time.
I am having second thoughts about returning here due to this kind of attitude towards customers that have supported this business.
I hope that the person responsible for this comment thinks about what I've said because of the offense that these kind of comments cause.
Lovely, fresh food; ample choice; friendly service and pleasant outdoor eating. Plenty of parking. Highly recommended.
OMG I'd drive halfway across Victoria for one of their pies bursting with filling and flavour, followed by an amazing assortment of delicious cakes.
If you must, they also have a range of fresh and healthy salads, still delicious
Coffee, staff, facilities and location. AWESOME.
Everything is really good here - haven't tried anything yet that I didn't like. Great coffee, pies, probably the best bahn mi I ever ate, salads, soups, and all sorts of pastries. I always stop here whenever I visit Yarra Valley/Warburton area.
The best coffee, food and service. Pity, thare is no dine in, only takeaway, so they are losing visitors due to short opening hours ️
The Pies are always top notch. Huge variety. A little more expensive than you local bakery but soooo many choices.
Go here all the time, great pies, great coffee, great staff and the vegetarian stuff is top notch too but sometimes it sells out quick.
Stopped in for a takeaway lunch today, the pies we had were fantastic (cauli/broccoli pie and beef burgundy pie) but the real winner was the lemon and raspberry crumble slice. If we didn't live an hour away I'd be back there weekly just for that!
Excellent coffee. Warm and bright interiors. The cauliflower pie is divine. The staff are super friendly. I want to eat everything there but I only have one mouth. Will always visit this place on my through.
Lovely food. Gets very busy on holidays and weekends. Because of this, seating is limited inside, more seating outside but not if weather permits. Food choices are excellent for both done in and takeaway.
Food was cold and it took forever to arrive, people after us were served first. Nothing like cold eggs
The Lentil Dahl pie is the BEST vegan pie I have ever had, wonderful to have vegan options, even better in a setting with such wonderful staff and surroundings
