Gladysdale Bakehouse reviews
72Massive servings, great quality local produce and lovely humans behind the counter. Also a great selection of pies, which I’ll be back for next time!?
Drowsy & very rude staff
Ordered something from board they looked me like I have asked unusual thing for a bakery
Soo sad seeing this from my favourite bakery?
We use to stop every time drive past for coffee & snack never coming back.
The Ruben is second to none. A fantastic spot to grab a bite to eat, it's not about the ambiance it's about the food!
Such a gorgeous little country bakery. Friendly staff and the food is delicious and fresh. Everything in the display window looked beautiful! I need to keep coming back to try it all. I stopped by near closing time and bought a few half price pies. The vanilla slice was so creamy and smooth and not too sweet
We were on our way to the Redwood Forest and were looking for a place to eat along the way. We found Gladysdale Bakehouse and were met with a big selection of pies. The chicken and mushroom pie was ok, a little bit too salty, but their curry pie was incredible and we went back for seconds. It was even half price when we went! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
Fabulous! Great selection and everything we tried was delicious. Staff very friendly and hardworking.
Dropped in for an early lunch on Australia Day, we just beat the lunch rush and was able to get a table on the front deck.
The staff were friendly and cheery, welcoming people in, sorting out all the covid check-in requirements, and seating people. Ordering at the counter was a breeze, with plenty of staff ready to take your order.
I got the Banh mi Benny, a flavour combo of a eggs Benedict with the braised pork and pickled vegetables of a traditional banh mi. It was a really good combination and I'd highly recommend.
We also got some take away frozen pies (delish!), and some desserts (it's futile resisting).
Delicious food, reasonable price, great coffee, amazing view and friendly staff.
We stayed in Yarra Junction for 3 nights and we went there 3 times. We had the pork belly breakfast, bagel berry with cream cheese, pork belly sanga, bacon & egg sanga, burgundy pie, vanilla slice, apple crumble tart and many more. Everything were delicious, thats why we keep coming back. The place was so busy on Sunday afternoon. Other days were alright. Little one also loved the food and the view of the mountain is spectacular. Totally recommended! We will be coming back soon.
Called in for a bite. Salmon bagel and coffee. Lovely.
Steak n pepper pie with chips, finished off with a coffee n custard slice. Yummy
Love Gladysdale Bakehouse! I was introduced to their incredible pies by a local, and now I travel 45 mins + to visit. I don't usually try bakery coffee, as it's usually not great, but when I noticed people stopping in just for coffee, I had to try it. The coffee is surprising really good! Amazing for a bakery, and great for a cafe.
Really unexpected beautiful spot in the north east!
Took me about 20 minutes to decide what I wanted to eat because everything looked delicious. I ended up with a bacon and egg Turkish roll and a veggie pastie - the bacon and egg Turkish roll was divine and so filling I had to save my pastie for later
My partner got the steak and bacon pie and said it was 10/10
If I’m ever in the area again I will be coming back for sure
Lovely lentil dahl pie, and steak & pepper, however truly awful a lemon slice. No zingy lemon flavour, tasted a bit of lemon essence. Not the end of meal delight I had hoped for.
Gladsdale Bakery is one of our local treasures. The cafe is spotlessly clean, the staff are all welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them.
There is a wide range of different types of food to choose from and meals are attractively served with just a little extra thought for presentation thrown in. I doubt if there is anywhere in Melbourne with views to match what we enjoy form their verandah. A Covid safe place to dine. Ben and Ruth
I am sorry, but the quality of your pie really gone south. By a lot.
Hopefully this is just a rare case.
This place is run by covid commanders, enforcing redundant mask rules, they check your papers like its 1930s Germany, avoid if you don’t want to feel uncomfortable.
A must whether you're in the Warburton area or not. Family run business so the staff (most of them) are so nice. The food here is exceptional! Whether it's just a pie or you grab something a little bigger, always so yummy. Prices are reasonable and the range of food they have is great. Definitely need to make a trip back.
Nice place nice staff.the seating area both inside and outside is not allowed due to covid-19 restrictions
Un organised service. Real shambles. Wait.
Food tasted good.
Bad luck with order of service. Hopeless no matter if you are first in!
Good food, love the Lamb Pai, how ever last Weeknd was realy busy and the worker there wasn't friendly at all and was Rush to get people out quick.
We have been here several times, food is wonderful, well priced, and staff are nice and friendly.
Can highly recommend
