Geonbae Korean BBQ Restaurant reviews
64Bibimbap is good comparable with the city standard. The dumplings were good too. Unfortunately, bbq meat beef and chicken were disappointing. We find it tough dry and lacking flavour. Hard to chew when it should be tender juicy and flavoursome. Next time just order Bibimbap! !
Great food and great staff.
Started with an excellent explanation of the menu by very attentive staff and went all the way to great food and plenty of it. Definitely returning for another round soon.
Nice hidden Korean bbq place. It was abit hard to find but the food is good as the waitress was helpful and they help you cook the food. Lunch menu is quite worth it. The taste is good.
Korean BBQ was nice, the food was tasty. Vegetarian pancake was delicious and Korean pancake icecream desert to finish off looked really good and tasted great. The place is spacious and comfortable.
Service was a little slow to begin with but always cheerful.then once the food started coming everything was timed perfectly.just as we were finishing one course the next was coming. Really fun vibe, delicious food (maybe not the mac cheese on the starter plate. I don't get it, but I also kinda don't wanna lose it now, it's quirky and since I've never been to Korea, maybe bad mac cheese is a thing) (love the kimchi pancake and that fried chicken tho), great beer selection, delicious rice wines. Get a lift in cos you'll wanna beer alongside everything.
Can be abit pricey but the food is beautiful. I'm abit of a Korean fried chicken addict here but there are lots of healthy and authentic dishes on the menu. Overlooking the redeveloped kananook creek district. Good atmosphere.
One has to try the red sweet chilli fried crispy chicken it’s fantastic lovely staff and very pleasant service excellent serve and quality we be back
Visited on a extremely busy evening, wasn't anything to rave about. Make sure to reserve a table if you plan to visit.
Honestly had my hopes up for going to a more pricey Korean BBQ restaurant. Save your money folks. Very "western" friendly, not very Korean. Food was cooked for us and under cooked.yes even the chicken. Fortunately my partner was able to recook on the grill.
The price point would have been ok. Maybe we got a bad batch. However if you are use to proper Korean BBQ stay away!
Would be suitable for someone who has never had Korean before, but maybe wants to try something still really western.
Food was way too sweet and wasn't pleasant to eat. Also other dishes were either way too spicy or way too sweet. No balance. Service was very good
The meal was good, but it was on the pricier side and the servings should have been a little larger. The staff were attentive and pleasant.
My family took me here for my birthday and we devoured the banquet like ravenous beasts. I can't wait to return. The food was delicious and watching it being cooked in front of you was an added treat.
Fantastic authentic Korean food. Unexpected to have a restaurant of this quality in Frankston. This place must try.
Nice views, clean and quiet atmosphere. Food was good, but some dishes were not as fresh as I would have thought for the price.
Absolutely fantastic. Plenty of delicious food and the service as exemplary. Can't wait to go there again. It has a very industrial feel which was different and very well done. Having the BBQ portion of our meal cooked on our table was so different and excellent.
Always have delicious food and can count on friendly service here. It's become a go-to place to eat out
Very overpriced for what you get. Have been to many Korean Restaurants in Melbourne and Queensland this is the most overpriced of them all. Normally love Korean as it a great value meal. From now on i will always drive to Springvale area
Restaurant view and ambience is great
staff service is great
Menu is pricey considering the size of the serving of the bbq set per pax
Restaurant is not suited for young kids and does not serve kids utensils
Fried chicken is just ok you are better off getting KFC
We spent Mother's Day dinner @ Geonbae and were thoroughly impressed with the service. Staff were friendly, professional and highly courteous. The meals were lovely and the food was fresh. Looking forward to visiting again and trying more dishes.
