Lovely place! It has such a nice cosy atmosphere. The food was super fresh and delicious, and they went above and beyond to put extra ingredients as their own offer.

Run by a wonderful waiting team, I appreciate their patience and service so much, I can't put it into words. Definitely reccomend!

Although they were busy and had less staff. We received our food within 15-20mins of ordering. Both wait staff were lovely and attentive. Portions could have been a little bigger but the food was delicious!

I had a great meal here with a bunch of friends. Quite often vegetarian options at Italian restaurants just aren't up to standard but the food at Gemma was fantastic. I will certainly be back!

The gnocchi dish I got was disappointing! Bland and not much flavour, supposed to have basil but came with one basil leaf! Had weird clumpy cheese on top that didn't go with the dish and the meal was cold. The waiter was not friendly and took forever to take our order, it literally took an hour to get our food! Not cool considering we needed to go to a movie after and were not expecting such slow service.

A wonderful dining experience. Visited with my partner and family. We had delicious pizzas, with bases that reminded me of my trip to Italy. Definitely recommend for dinner and dessert - the nutella calzone was delicious. Staff are very kind and welcoming. 5/5

Gemma Simply Italian is amazing. Food. Ambience. Staff. All 5 stars. The minute you walk in you get this warm rush of air and the vibe is amazing. Definitely a must go, we had the gnocchi and two pizzas and everything was perfect, we then finished with a hot chocolate, Nutella calzone and tiramisu which was divine!

Here on a Wednesday for $15 woodfired pizza! Regina Bianca my absolute favourite, pears on a pizza just works when it's made by these guys.
Gnocchi were small servings, but absolutely delicious.
Chilli oil and extra cheese also brought in without asking.
Service was friendly and attentive, kudos to the chef who let me place one last order to go!

Gemma Simply Italian is hard to beat - a delightful, cosy, family run restaurant with an authentic Italian atmosphere. The pasta and pizza dishes are always fresh, delicious and beautifully presented, while the friendly staff go out of their way to make customers feel welcome. A perfect place to dine casually or to celebrate with friends. No wonder it's popular - make sure to book at week-ends!

The staff were friendly and attentive, great drink options, and food was nice.

The only negative was the rice dish that was served in a fry pan. It tasted okay but it was odd eating out of a kitchen grade non-stick frypan and would have preferred a normal plate.

One of the best experiences I have had at an Italian Restaurant. The pizza and the pasta we ordered were delicious! And probably some of the freshest and flavourful pasta I have had. I usually find cheese gnocchi quite sickening, but this gnocchi was very well balanced.

Just from looking around, you can definitely tell that this family owned business puts in a lot of work to make sure every person is well catered to.

The staff were also so friendly and accommodating and the overall ambiance is unmatched. I have never been to a restaurant, and felt so cozy and 'at home' while enjoying my meal.

Do yourself a favour, and try this place! You won't be disappointed!
