Absolutely horrible experience very untrustworthy sneaky company. They damaged my device! And wouldn’t repair it! Do not take it here! Goto app tech in geelong or a Apple store. These people are dodgy thieves! They aren’t even apart of Apple just follow their guidelines. No one is able to help at their store because they have no Senior supervisor.

Think twice before seeking a repair at Geelong Technology Group. I dropped my Apple Macbook Pro in a coupe of weeks back as my keyboard was not functioning properly. I was told that it would be looked at & if I was not to go through with the repair, that I would be charged $70 regardless to be able to get my Laptop back. I received a phone call a couple of days later & told that they had found 'liquid corrosion' under my keyboard & that this would cost $800+ (no exact figure and no further explanation) to be repaired. Since my Laptop is only 8 months old, I was obviously not satisfied with this outcome & contacted Apple AU to query. Apple lodged a case for me & basically told me that they understood my frustration & would get to the bottom of it. 2-3 days later, I was told by Apple that there was no liquid corrosion, in fact just a small amount of liquid damage. I saw images of the two keys that were pulled off & it was very minimal and.not corroded! I was basically told two different things & had no solution or option other than to either pay for the repair or pay $70 to get my un-fixed Laptop back.

I was appalled by the customer service & would highly recommend that anyone seeking a repair in Geelong make the trip to Melbourne and go to an Apple Store to seek repair, rather than an 'authorised retailer'. I was later told by Apple that you will pay extra to use an Authorised repairer as opposed to Apple store.

Amazing customer service! Extremely helpful with my SSD problems, and even cleaned my PC when they didn't have to. Will definitely be going back in the future and would recommend to others.

Went to these guys to fix my old laptop twice (over a period of 2years) The 1st time wasn’t pleasant- manager at that time wasn’t very helpful but thankfully the tech guy was. My recent trip back to get it fixed was much better. All of them were helpful and honest - they found the fault to be an out of date firmware which meant I saved on having to replace the ssd.

Sent four emails over a period of 2 months to both email addresses listed on their website. I was requesting a battery replacement quote and a copy of a tax invoice for previous work done. Never received a response.

Follow up: invoice and quote provided in response to review. Thanks.

Had cracked laptop screen, they quoted up to $450 and said 4 days. One hour later I received a call saying new quote $350 and pick up next day because it was a different screen than they thought. Amazing service, highly recommended

Their telephone manner was vague and as if disinterested in my business. Perhaps because l am a senior they couldn't be bothered explaining the problem and just fobbed me off.

I wont be using them in the future as l went elsewhere and was treated with courtesy and in the end a far better price.

Visited recently to buy a cable which I had lost to power my pc and upon visiting the store and asking for a replacement I was offered a spare cable completely free of charge! Staff were quite friendly and helpful so will definitely return if I have any pc/technology queries or issues in the future.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced and a very quick turn around - the technicians were able to fix my macbook's hard drive problems in less than 24 hours. Very happy with the service, would highly recommend!

Always wait forever in the store but Chris has taken care of my Dad's computer for several years. Service is great when eventually they get to you!

Brought my brand new Macbook Air in when the wifi stopped working. They told me there was corrosion on the motherboard and that's what had stopped the wifi from working, and it would cost $990 to repair.

I took it to another guy in Melbourne for a second opinion, and he said that there was no corrosion, and even let me look at it to prove it. Don't trust these guys, extremely dodgy.

Very rude staff & tried to rip me off.

Contacted Apple Au about issues on my Apple IPhone 6s Plus since last Phone update.

Apple gave me a warranty reference number & booked me into Geelong Technology Group.

They tried to charge me $39.00 for a factory reset for a phone that is covered under warranty.

I do not recommend any one use this dodgy establishment.

Had a Samsung phone - 30 day turn around for repairs. These guys had my iPhone assessed, sent and replaced in just a few days! Have never had electronic repairs done so quick and professionally.

I came in with my phone and after reviewing it, it was properly prepared, but the sim card that i entrusted to one of the employees who was supposed to give it to me somehow lost it. Then had the audacity to deny any wrongdoing.
