60Took my 2017 MacBook pro for a faulty screen. They checked the laptop and got me a free repair under company expense. Really professional and supportive staff. They were really fast and got it done in under a week’s time. Will recommend them to anyone with Apple products.
DO NOT recommend Geelong Technology Group for issues with Apple products. Took my sons iPhone X in as the display had frozen a few times. Was told there had been issues with their display and may be able to replace the display. They called back the next day and said the screen had been removed and there was water damage so couldn't do anything about it. No problems, went in and picked it up. Phone was not on and they said they weren't going to charge me the service fee. Alarms bells rang for me then! Got home and the phone was DEAD! Took it back in and they said they would look at it and call me back that afternoon. After 4 days of waiting I called them back and they told me that there was nothing they could do! I would assume that I would get the phone back in the same condition that I took it in.working! They didn't even have the decency to tell me the first time I picked it up that the phone was not working! Now we have no phone and they completely wiped their hands of us! After reading other reviews it seems it has been a common occurrence with this company. They have been reported to Apple.
In response to GTGs response below. Firstly we were completely unaware of any such water damage until they mentioned it to us. Secondly, we had never had any issues with the battery previously. How do we know that they may have been responsible for tampering with the battery? Thirdly, even when I brought the dead phone back and asked to speak the manager/someone to find out exactly what had happened they were "too busy".
The fact of the matter is we had a working phone when we took it into GTG and it was dead when I picked it up. Had I been treated with a bit of honesty, integrity and respect things might have turned out differently.
Busy company but kept the appointment time I made. Authorised Apple repairer but do note that they are not Apple so some limitations apply.
Very pleased with their service to date.
Dropped off iphone X to repair camera and volume control. When picked up phone was no longer able to be turned on. Completely wiped their hands of it.
This all took around 4 weeks with very limited communication from Geelong Technology Group.
Will Never Use Again!

Hilarious, you should get a job politics.
Bottom line is a working phone (making and receiving calls, apps, texts etc) was dropped off for repair and you gave it back unable to be turned on and didn't have the courtesy or professionalism to tell us when it was picked it up.
Even Apple recognised that the service we received was not upto their standard (GTG are an approved service provider for Apple) and are sending us a set of Airpods valued at $250.
Be really careful please.
I bought a new mac, it's been 8 years and the old one just got a bit too slow to handle the things I wanted. I did a phone around and got good info from a range of places. These guys made a bit more sense which was good. They would have scored five stars, but a few hiccups meant I had to mark hard.:)

I can't recommend them enough for their professionalism and great customer service.
I came to the shop with my 2 year old macbook pro whose keyboard wasn't working.
Before going to the shop, I went to the Apple Store to see what they could offer me as my laptop was only two years old. The apple store in Melbourne charged me 80$ to have a look at it and sent me a $800 quote, according to them the whole top case should be changed.
I went to Geelong Technology Group, who had another look at it for free. They came back to me with a $20 invoice for the defect wire that prevented my keyboard to function properly and a brand new screen (worth $700) that I haven't paid because they found a Apple program on it (which the Apple Store never mentioned).
Thanks to them, from a $800 quote I ended up paying $20 for pretty much a brand new laptop (new screen and a functioning keyboard).
Thank you Geelong Technology Group for replacing the fan on my wife Amy's Fujitsu Lifebook.
She is using her computer constantly and rather than leave the computer queued at their repair centre Ben contacted me to bring in the computer when he was ready to work on it. This was ideal for Amy.
Their fee was less than expected and Amy is delighted with the repairs. I can strongly recommend Geelong Technology Group.
Took my 5 year old macbook with a non functioning keyboard. They ordered the relevant parts and got it repaired within 2 working days at a reasonable cost. They were prompt in replying to my mails as well. Highly recommend. -Jana

This is a very dodgy company, do not expect to get good service from this company! Isaac straight out lied to me and I have put in a complaint to APPLE about this. You would expect good honest service from a small business but not this business stay clear from Geelong Technology Group i came here over year ago my name is

They charge even more than a genuine Apple store! And 3x the price of another iPhone repair store “buzz tech”
In geelong/torquay all because they follow apples guidelines!
If you have an issue with them Apple will not be able to help since I’ve experienced a dilemma with this company before and was told by Apple customer care that they aren’t connected to Apple they just follow the same guidelines that Apple use. & they are their own independent company and theirs nothing Apple can do. And they damaged my device!

Geelong Technology Group is, and always has been, my go to place whenever anything has gone wrong with my Macbook Pro, as they have always delivered wonderful service. So when I was in that position again today, back I went in a total panic as I had some very important work on there that I couldn’t afford to lose. Once again, the service was amazing. A technician was able to look at my laptop on the spot, deduce what was causing the problem, fix it and give advice on what I could do to avoid the issue happening again. The guys front of house were also a pleasure to deal with and didn’t charge me anything to fix the problem. Geelong Technology Group are the best! (I should point out that they have moved from Waurn Ponds and are now at 166 Francis St, Belmont).

Staff were very helpful; gave quotes and explained what was needed. When I went to collect my laptop, was advised no charge as they requested an extension of my warranty and got part replaced for free. Brilliant service, above and beyond.
