Geelong Cellar Door

We recently stayed in geelong for a couple of nights and stumbled upon this gorgeous place our first night. Wonderful quality wine and service to match. We loved it so much we went back the next day! Wish this was our local

John and the team are friendly, warm and very knowledgeable. The new outdoor space is great for a glass of wine and a cheese platter on a lovely summer night.

Good atmosphere, great bar if you want to enjoy a drink with someone and still be able to hear each other talk. Food platters are amazing.

Gorgeous place to chill for an afternoon wine and platter.
Have been here numerous times and stopped in most recently for a few glasses of wine and a platter after work with my partner.

They were busy (at capacity) so food coming out was a bit slow, but the wine always came out very quickly.

Staff overall are great; friendly and well informed, I did have a snarky comment last night though from one male waiter, who after asking if we’d chosen a wine to order replied “Thank God! ”. We’d only just been seated to a table, but perhaps the stresses of a busy night were beginning to show there.

Will still be back for sure.

Great wine bar and friendly service. Food range of local and international wines. Platters are a good share size, knowledgeable staff and lovely ambience. Will go again.

Lovely space but the staff aren’t particularly friendly, often quite slow with service and can’t describe the wine they’re selling for up to $20/glass, and don’t wear their face masks properly. Would come here more often if it was a more welcoming destination.

Great atmosphere, heaps of wines, loved the grand cheese/meats platter shares between 5. Prices pretty on par with the sort of place it is maybe a tad on the expensive side for the glass ($13). Would go back.

Cool and cosy wine bar in heart of Geelong CBD. Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. Wine list has some great wines from the local region and abroad.

Great place with fab platters, lovely wines and so good watching the world go by outside. Highly recommend

Excellent wine selection, friendly and efficient service, great ambience and a delicious, fresh and beautifully presented antipasto platter - certainly a 'go to' place.

A bit stark inside to my taste but it served it's purpose well. In a popular strip for seeing and being seen, if that's your thing. Beer available too. Nearest parking is only a little walk away.

This is the @geelongcellardoor a wine bar and restaurant with an outdoor wine terrace found in Little Mallop St, Geelong’s laneway of drinking and dining venues. I’d been following @winegeelong so as soon as I walked in the door here I recognised the impressive #geelongwine honour role on the wall. My go to in Geelong for a wine. Super friendly staff. Wine knowledge is top notch—recently had the best local Pinot Noir that I’ve tried so far in the Bellarine. It was also a stress free respite and unwind during the easing of restrictions. Will be back and highly recommend for locals and tourists alike.
