Gardenview Lodge Motel

Only a short stay for work but pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean the cabins are. From the road it doesnt look like much but once inside its certainly a great place to spend a few nights in comfort. Will be back again for sure

Greg and his staff were amazing. Greg let our group of 10 check in early and gave us all a late check out.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Garden areas were magnificently maintained.
Free continental breakfast hit the spot. They even had gluten free bread!
Little drive to the main strip of Wangaratta but the bonus of this is that the area is very quiet.
Definitely worth staying here if you need a room while passing through or staying in Wangaratta.

My family stayed in one of the 2 bedroom cabins and it was fantastic, very modern, spotlessly clean and had everything you need, even a couple of bottles of cold water in the fridge. Beds were very comfortable and AC was quiet. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and good to see there was gluten free bread and cereal available. I’ll definitely stay again.

Really nice cabin, nice and quiet, the trade off is that it's a bit out of the way. Thoroughly enjoyed our night there though

Very friendly staff! This place was a very pleasant surprise to us, I would definitely come back even for a family trip.
Rooms are nice a clean and overall feeling of the motel is very pleasant. They have a clean pool and big well maintained garden. Continental breakfast also gives this place extra points.
Deserves 5* for such a low cost.

The staff here are outstanding. We stayed in a villa for an overnight stop on a trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.

Everything that we needed plus set in huge old gardens. And breakfast in the old lodge.

Just stayed in their 2 bedroom apartment, after travelling down from Brisbane staying in various motels this place was hands down the best, the cheapest and it felt luxurious. 5 stars!

Amazing place to stay! So quite & the 2 bedroom apartment with full kitchen (with microwave) was fantastic & very clean! We Loved the layout of the apartment & the two bedrooms with queen size beds & tv’s in both rooms & also another large screen tv in the lounge room topped it off! Good location which is close to everything including Glenrowan tourist attractions only a short 12min drive! We highly recommend this accommodation for family’s, couples or singles! AAA+

A great place for a 'stop, revive, survive' Basic motel room had everything I needed, a bed, hot shower, air-conditioning, a TV and basic coffee/ food facilities. Not new or flash, but clean, comfortable and fantastic helpful hosts.

Great little place to stop overnight. Tidy rooms, comfy bed and very friendly staff. Was nice to go and have a complimentary breakfast before getting back on the road. Will definitely stay again.

Very Value for money motel in that area. It’s great for those who would like to spend a night for a visit to Mount Buller. The motel offers complimentary continental breakfast for the guests. Customer service was great and excellent environment.

Unfortunately Greggy boy, I can’t reply to your comment. As I explained MULTIPLE times during the conversation-“I’m not here to argue with you mate” I came to the counter a per YOUR receptionists instructions with a polite good morning to be met with your pig of an attitude. I previously spoke to Kathy on the phone after trying to modify the booking, I then rang and enquired that the booking was successful in which Kathy told me she had no record of the modification and that I could go ahead, cancel the larger booking and she would rebook for me. Kathy was absolutely lovely perhaps you should take some lessons on how to deal with people. Again I reiterate I came to the reception on instruction from YOUR receptionist not to argue with you, given it was explained I would’ve been happen to waive the refund but instead you were too busy blowing steam out your ears. Settle down you old git (i read you enjoy using this word) and learn abit about business. Only have to look at your other reviews to know what you’re like, dunno how you guys are still running

Fairly basic overnight room wouldn't want to stay more than a night. Bed not so great to sleep on.but hey a budget motel is a budget motel. Nothing flash

What a find! Absolutely loved our stay at this place. Clean, gorgeous room and yummy complimentary breakfast before we left. The place has well maintained gardens and lawn and friendly hosts. Highly recommend this place.

My father and I stayed in the Executive Villa, and had an enjoyable stay. It's like a caravan park but with no camping/caravan sites. The included simple breakfast was great (including GF options in a separate box). The park is in a nice spot, but is some distance from the centre of town, so consider that if you're going out for the night.
Otherwise, this is a great spot.

Great stay although on next visit will get a cabin. Stayed in a Budget Motel room. Room was very nice but let down by the outdated bathroom. Free breakfast was very nice and provided a good selection to choose from. More than happy to stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic, my wife and I were upgraded to a villa, with complementary breakfast, comfortable bed, great room.friendly and helpful hosts.
