Gami Chicken & Beer

Authentic Korean food. The Kimchi pancake was just like we had in Seoul! Loved the chicken too. Definitely coming back.

We were eager to try Gami, but have to say the experience was a little disappointing.
The side dish of chips came before the main.
We realized the corndue table heater must have turned off almost straight after lighting because the corndue immediately became a lump and couldn't remelt with a new heater, a fresh melted - runny corndue would have been nice, better than waiting for the table warmer trying to remelt it.
The first bottle of soft drink served was nice and chill, the second was not, seemed to have been just loaded into the fridge.
The staff seemed a little off task - but nice and friendly when you got their attention.
The fried chicken was ok - about what was expected.
The other menu items we tried were also average and not as good as we hoped.
Overall it's ok, but.

Great food. Service was A+ and the waiter was so nice and friendly. Definitely would return and an excellent quality affordable feed

Enjoyed lunch in Frankston today. The food was great and included dumplings, crunchy chicken, kimchi fried rice and the most delicious chips I've eaten in a long time. Accompanying salads were crisp and coulourful. A clean welcoming environment.

Worst dining experience.food won't come out even after an hour.
Not sure what the kitchen is doing.terrible.totally not recommended. Also look at the serving of radish.utter disappointment

Every gami I've been to, the chips and burgers are the same
Yet at Frankston I received a schnitzel burger with tomato sauce. No katsu sauce? Unsalted string fries, what happened to the signature thick gami fries?
Sauces on the chicken pieces is perfect though

We absolutely love Gami but have been thoroughly disappointed by this Gami. We have ordered twice now and each time didnt receive our complete orders. First time we ordered in store for take away, waited 1 hour for them to tell us they ran out of corn cheese. A very simple dish. Second time we ordered over the phone and had to pick up as they were not delivering that night. We called 30 minutes into the opening hours and told they were not ready to take orders and to call back in 30 minutes. Once we picked up the meal we got home only to discover they didn't pack our cheese corn and rice so our meal was literally chicken. They offered a free drink for us to go back and get it or have a refund. When we got there we asked for the food and was told we had to wait another 15 minutes as it was busy. We ended up getting rice from another store to go with our cold chicken! The chicken was good though just cold.

We gave the newly opened Gami Frankston location last night, as its important to support new businesses. The process from placing a phone order, to collecting from the front of the store was seamless.

The young lady working front of house was super friendly, clear and direct. The fine details weren't missed, even reminding me to make sure the bag handle doesn't tear apart. The boneless chicken was fantastic, good portion and temperature. We would return for sure.

Amazing experience! The food was great and staff were very welcoming. The restaurant itself is a great addition to the Frankston scene.
Will definitely be back again!

I’m a big fan of Gammi chicken, yesterday was disappointing.

We ordered a medium family pack which had fries, fried chicken. The fried chicken was good with onside sauces. However, we did pay extra for the radish which was not even filled 1/4 of the box, I could count there were 7 cubes.

Excuse me if this is a standard for a dollar extra radish. I’m happy to pay 1.5$ to fill it properly.

Aaron (owner) is a bloody legend and will always look after you! First time here tonight and bloke is a fired up steam engine! Love the atmosphere and energy also love the beer and food!

Came in on Wednesday for dinner with my partner and friends. Owner is such a legend, makes everyone feel welcome and happy to be in the store.

Would highly recommend going in, customer service here is some of the best I've ever seen, from the Owner to the rest of the staff.

The Robot is also hands down employee of the month every month.

The food here is amazing and the staff are great! Aaron the owner is a legend of a bloke and even shouted my partner and I some complimentary drinks!
Would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be returning in future.

Lovely staff and restaurant. Good was cooked to perfection and the staff were really accommodating. Exactly what Frankston needs. Would definitely recommend the chicken wings.
