Gami Chicken & Beer

The food is a bit dry, I have gone to a lot of Korean chicken restaurants and I must say they’re definitely not the best. There chicken is good how ever they definitely slack because it’s to dry, and they don’t put enough sauce. Their sauce is nice but it could be better, over all I give it a 6/10. Just make sure you drink a lot of water with dry chicken other wise you’ll get sick since it’s very dry.

I have been searching for something positive to say, but there is nothing. This venue is putrid. We left feeling dirty. We will never return.

Food came out in a timely manner and was delicious! We were also served by a lovely waitress a beautiful PNG Queen…Bonus the upbeat Pacific Islander music playing had me vibing in my seat the whole time we will definitely be back

Loved the friendly staff, the food was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were sooo good. We will definitely be dining there again soon!

Food is delicious. One if the best chicken and bibimbap was awesome. Customer service is one of the best.

Edit: so my kids convinced me to order from here again. I called after ordering on Uber to make sure everything was in included. Before I could say anything they knew who I was and was very apologetic. They included a bunch free extras to make up for the previous oversight. So all good.

Have ordered from here 3 times through Uber eats (from Frankston local). First time was mind blowing. Sauces were probably the best I've had and the chicken equally as good. 2nd and 3rd time; although I ordered sauce, no sauce was delivered both times. It was tough getting through the whole sauceless chicken for the second time, I doubt I'll attempt it again.

Food was ok. My only concern was the server with a very long hair. As in loooong. Her hair went to our food while she is serving our food. We didn't complain about it because me and my partner were both tired from work and just want to eat and go. She did this too to other customers like serving food or drink then her hair will touch the food. It’s very unhygienic and also lost my appetite. Lastly all staff are always on their phones.

Amazing food, the place is clean and tidy, owner is an absolute legend and quality of service was outstanding.

Its a cozy place so much better than cbd but there were some flies hanging out & sharing my crispy chicken wings from time to time.

Good place & will go back soon.

Food was not to bad at all!
Would be 5 starts but the guy was giving out “on the house” beer and jugs of soft drinks to every table around us but ours and we did order more then one drink each so we thought that was a bit rough as he was also giving out free drinks to people that hadn’t even ordered yet. And he wasn’t quiet about it either. Talk about picking and choosing, not a good look.

Amazing place, the owner Aaron genuinely cares about his shop and his people. My partner was made redundant and he made her (and our) day!

Very happy to have a Gami closer to home. Our family enjoyed our meal there. Owner made himself known and was helpful.

I am not one to ever post a review- but our experience on Saturday night absolutely needed me to! We had the most amazing dinner ever! The food & drinks were beyond delicious (we had a massive banquet) but the service was OUTSTANDING! I believe the lovely man I am talking about may be the owner? Or definitely the manager! We had the BEST time and will be back as soon as we can! THANK YOUU!

I’ve been to Gami Chicken and Beer 5 times now as well as getting takeaway once. All experiences have been fantastic! The food is delicious from the sides to the chicken to the specials. Each time the staff has been very friendly, welcoming and helpful (a special shout-out to Cheryl). Can’t wait to continue making this a lunch spot.

It's ok. Won't blow your mind, but not bad. Might be better items on the menu but I haven't had them as yet. I'll go back but won't rush to.

I’ve been to multiple Gami venues in Melbourne and Canberra and this one is definitely one of my favourites. The staff are polite and friendly and it’s good to see the owner involved and interacting with patrons! Thank you

The fried chicken were not crispy enough if you want to make a comparison to the Korean fried chicken. And the sauce was quite watery.was a bit disappointed actually

Staff were wonderful and food was fast, hot and tasty! Dining area was very clean and perfect warmth. Kids had room to wriggle without annoying people which I always appreciate! Will definately be back!

They seem to know how to *take* the reservation, they just don't know how to *hold* the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them
