Gami Chicken & Beer

Arrived to pick up order at advised time (just after 2: 30), store was closed and staff ignored me while i stood at the door. Was only able to enter the store because another person left.
Was told it would be about a 4-5 min wait for my order. Waited another 25-ish mins to get my order. When i got home (about 10 mins drive) i found that they had made a change to the order which was unsuitable. Not sure why they couldnt let me know that the item was unavailable in the 25 mins i was waiting there to see what change would be appropriate.
The food was also completely cold, so i assume the order was sitting there for the majority of the time i was waiting anyway.

Out of all chicken I’ve experienced this is by far the BEST chicken I’ve had. Crispy & full of flavour. Absolutely brilliant stuff. Got complementary beers so there are 0 complaints. 100% recommended.

Came here for a date before I went to the movies. The waitresses caught on and made lovely conversation about that I was going and even recommended what items to get from their menu so we could get out in time to go back to the movies.

We had the full boneless chicken which I have to say, was to die for. The enviroment in the resturant is so friendly and lively, it makes you feel welcomed.

The staff is super nice and are fantastic to have a chat with, especially if you come in some time during the early week to have lunch. So nice and peaceful then too.

This place I would recommend to anyone to come by and try, I look forward to coming back here again

Chair was stuck to the floor, chairs covered in food crumbs, cutlery on the table was dirty, the table was so sticky my elbow got stuck, the menus we were given had so much gunk on them I could feel it, the waitress had extremely long pointed fake fingernails (since when did this become ok in hospitality? !).
The state of the restaurant put us off ordering anything so we decided to leave. As we got to the door the waitress shouted at our backs from across the entire restaurant "Thanks for stopping by".
I hate to think what state the kitchen is in if some chairs and tables were too much to keep clean when only half of it is filled.

Response to the owners reply: 2 inch long spikes are not safe, not hygienic as fake nails trap bacteria underneath which is why they aren't allowed in hospitality. Clearly as a new business you still have a lot to learn. And funny how the customer has to request the restaurant not be dirty, should be a given. Your attitude in responding to people's reviews speaks volumes about how long your business will last.

Ordered the $75 family pack, what an absolute rip of 3 tiny boxes of food which would be good for 2 people. I called the gami to which their reply was to talk to the chef, I said don't worry we won't be ordering there again.

Amazing experience! Went in for a nice lunch and it’s definitely what we had. Went with my partner and was happily created by the owner Aaron who’s made the experience that much better. Great workers, food was amazing! We will definitely be coming back and telling our friends about it!

Super yummy food, great portion sizes, the kimchi pancake was amazing! Both the owner and waitress were super friendly and accomodating, service was great. Will be eating here again soon!

Gami did not disappoint! From the second you walk in the service is amazing! The food was also incredible. Great atmosphere, will definitely return!

Don't get me wrong place is amazing food is amazing just one thing the portion size of full boneless is alot less than the narre Warren store.

It was zuggested to give Gami a try so I did.
Food tasted nice, good assortment of chicken dishes.
A touch pricey however its the new norm given all our supply chain and staffing issues.

The reason for the loss of ibe star is twofold.
The first table we sat at was very sticky where you could see sugary stains so we moved only for the next table to also be sticky.
Point number two is that there were only 2 of us in the restaurant and we were given one menu to share. Very odd. When we asked the waitress we were told that was policy, 1 menu per table.
I'm glad there weren't for of us there for lunch.
Maybe change that policy, it was annoying having to take turns reading a menu especially since it was our first time.

A little bit wait on the weekend but we were offered a free beer while waitingbfor our order which is a very hospitable gesture. Food is tasty and perfection.

A restaurant that uses a app to make you order from the menu. But then doesn't have all the products on the menu. Takes time to download and has to have all your details and also the app to be verified before you can order. We went to dine before seeing a movie so we were hoping it would be a quick and easy process. Ended up being stressful and time consuming seeing we had somewhere to go afterwards. Food wasn't great in the end. Except for the chips.

What a place. I ordered takeaway and whilst waiting for my order the owner came out and gave me a complimentary beer to enjoy. He said that the owner was a cracking bloke, I would have to agree. The chicken was also very good.

If you like uncooked chicken and D tier chips, Gami is the place for you. Not to mention the cheap price of 17 bucks for the octopus they call chicken.

Friendly staff, we had explained to us when we first sat down there would be a delay with food due to shortage of staff affected by covid. But when the food did it arrive it was amazing and so worth the wait! Free drinks for our table, whilst we waited for our food. If you get a chance, go check it out!
