Gami Chicken & Beer reviews
66 I placed a takeaway order. I’m amazed on how they don’t use plastic at all. All the takeaway boxes, spoons everything is recyclable & made of wood. Kudos to their ethical values ️
Coming to the food, it’s worth the price. I placed an order for wings - I got 14 (even though the menu says 12), shredded cabbage with sauce. Good is great too.
Well.i ordered chicken wings but they look like not fresh and old.taste like tough and wired. I will never order here again.
Food is nice but pricey. I'd recommend it as a starter level Korean food place for those wanting to try out new cuisines!
I ordered the original and spicy fried chicken. I prefer the spicy one rather than the original. I also tried the fries, which has a unique combination of sweet and salty taste. Service was great. They served pickled radish and prawn crackers while we were waiting for our food.
The chickens packs a crunch, the sauces are delicious, and it comes with condiments which makes it good value. Also, they open til late so they're good for that late night munching.
Thanks for staying open till that late! Our hungry stomachs were saved by your beautiful fried chicken!
We took take away. The fries stays crispy even when it's cold, wow don't even mention the fried chickens, the one with soy garlic is simply delicious!
I'm salivating as I write this review because they have some of the best fried chicken around. Friendly, prompt service and there have been numerous occasions where I have ordered online and the food has arrived hot hot hot. Definitely recommend this place to anyone that isn't familiar with Korean fried chicken - it's a great place to start.
Nice soy chicken. Other options are also available.
Salad option is also available
Chips is also good
Found always crowded so book your table in advance
Still consistently good. The city branch is definitely better than the Highpoint one for now. The amount of food is generous. I was so full. The only concern is the spicy is up especially the spicy option boneless chicken. I love spicy food so it was so good but if you can't be mindful to ask them to reduce the spiciness.
Incredible food and great service. Fried chicken is awesome and spicy is very spicy! Haha. Cannot fault.
Thank You!
Best korean fried chicken! Soy garlic is the best, other favourites include potato heaven and corn cheese!
They serve the best chicken going around. Sweet and chilli is to die for. Soooo delicious.
Highly recommend.
I was enjoying this chicken while celebrating New Year’s day until I found out a piece of plastic in my chicken!
You cannot justify this because of the reason you were busy!
You ruined my New Year’s day!: (
Probably the reigning Korean fried chicken champion in Melbourne that I've found so far. Must try.
Excellent food and service. I once ordered a take away but this branch had too many customers and it was getting delayed. The guy at counter apologised and gave a free drink! I think the gesture was very sweet and i didn't mind waiting.
The website menu lists "vegetarian" chicken (made from tofu) but when we arrived, we were told that only the Gami restaurant in the suburbs stocks this and that there were no vegetarian mains. If someone in your group is vegetarian: avoid this place.
Yummy Gami chicken is soooooo wickedly scrumptious says my tummy. I always thought fried chicken is greasy but this one was just dope.juicy and crunchy at the same time. Add the gami beer jug. Perfect!
Always love a good Gami visit because they have plenty of outlets in Melbourne and you can expect good quality food. If you're into spicy spicy they have a volcano sauce which me and my friends always opt for when we want something really spicy and just sweet spicy. This particular outlet is pretty small but still good food overall.
Dear Gami Chicken, where is my corn? I ordered corn cheese, but I only got mashed potato with cheese.
