The place is great for kids but it took over 13 minutes to get the kids started on their climbing. The 5 staff stood around and talked before one member decided to explain the safety procedures. Very disappointed and not terribly professional particularly with the money you pay for each child.
I feel the staff need to be onto it much more.

The facility is great and the kids really enjoy the climbing and play areas.
If I could rate those separately they would get five stars. Alas.
There are some things that could be improved.
On a number of occasions staff were unable to provide coins for the paid machines. They often say they will send someone to get some and to come back in ten minutes to get some, though when you get back it is the same story.
Even more routinely than this is the poor customer service at the cafe or upon entry. There are plenty of staff hovering around, though none care to serve you or even make eye-contact. This has resulted in having to line up for a fair while each time I'm there.
The third gripe I have is with the party service. My daughter recently had a party there. Upon arrival there was a significant wait before being attended to in order to commence the party.
The "dedicated party host" was missing most of the time, only appearing at key moments, such as bringing the cake out.
They were meant to help with setting up the decorations, provide socks and wristbands, etc.
I was provided with an envelope containing the wristbands after a few kids got theirs, and a bag of socks (which only came later after my daughter slipped as she didn't have the grip socks) and had to sort the kids myself.
It wasn't until the 2nd time I asked (shouldn't have even had to) that the name on the window was updated after the last party.
During the party some kids that weren't invited decided upon themselves to join the celebration despite being told, and the dedicated party host being told, that they weren't part of the group. Later, left to their own devices while the kids from the party were playing, they decided to ruin the decorations.
Again, the dedicated party host could not be found. After a fair wait at the counter, missing more of my daughters celebration, I was able to find someone to help get the balloons back down from the rafters and reattach them to their dismembered strings.
After the kids were able to play for a spell, they were quickly summoned back to the party room to eat the ordered food and the cake because, as we were informed at that moment, despite starting late, celebrations would end promptly at the scheduled time of 4: 30pm - and even though it was advertised that we would be moved to a reserved table after so the kids could continue playing (as was the experience at other parties attended), this would not be the case as the playground would also be closing at 4: 30pm, rather than the posted time of 5pm.
Oh - and that free entry present for the birthday girl? If you've come this far you could probably guess - nowhere to be found.
Services like this are meant to take the stress away from kids parties - though it only exacerbated it. Fortunately the birthday girl was none the wiser, thrilled to be playing with her friends.
Next time I'll book with Rabbit Hole.
Pathetic, Funtopia.

Playground is extremely clean, food was amazing for a kids party, toilets were cleaned every 30 minutes. Staff are super friendly and coffee was on point. Parking is terrible.

Great place for the kids, from the Junior area aged upto 2 years, to the older children, everything was secure and the kids had fun. Great separate area for supervised climbing activities, but at an additional cost. Party rooms are a great for hosting private functions. Food was plentiful and delicious. Staff very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended for a fun, stressless party for the kids and adults alike.

Went there Wednesday 20-1-2021. Staff on front counter are not as cheerful as they used to be. Food prices are too high and chips were terrible. (Kids Fish & Chips) other than that it is a great place

I had my girls 7th birthday party here last Saturday and kids had the best time here. Staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make it fun and enjoyable for our kids. The duty manager allowed 2 of our big kids to swap the playground pass to the climb session. Jayden our host was awsome as well. Thank you!

Staff are friendly and helpful, best rock climbing for kids, enclosed toddler only area which is very reassuring and fantastic play areas and equipment for bigger kids. Kids loved this centre and we'll be going back very soon?

Great party platter food and awesome party. Good set up having the climbing party as well as the playground for the younger children.
We were really impressed with the girl who helped our son with the climbing party as he wasn't very confident to begin with (she gave him lots of encouragement!).
Great job guys. Only negative part was that it was quite busy and nobody was wearing masks (good in some ways but not in others!).
Would recommend a party here though!

Great spot for active kids and good training ground for rock climbing for little ones. Cafe lacks healthy options and closes earlier than the centre itself.

Overall, it was good experience. Staff are friendly and there are lots of things to play for kids and places to run around. I had to supervise my kids all the time mainly due to the big stairs in the middle of the play centre (I have 2yo and 3.5yo children). Kn the top of that, most slides are quite steep besides baby slides in the baby play area for those under 2yo. For older kids (over 4yo), there are lots of fun things to do such as rock climbing. There are lots of car park and various menu.

My son and his friend had the best time. We, moms, could sit back, relax and enjoy a good coffee. Food was yum. Staff were cleaning all the time. We felt covid safe

Lovely place. It's actually a cafe inside a kids play centre! It's really cool. The coffee was fantastic! The male Barista there made a great coffee and was very friendly. The service was great! CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!

Good for keeping the kids entertained. Adults have your Weet-Bix in the morning you will need it. Good for kids birthday parties

I want to like it more but it's just too crazy busy in that place! Kids enjoy the climbing but it's way too crowded for comfort on the weekends and for parties

Wouldn’t waste my money again only thing good about it was getting a car park right at the front door. Plenty of other play centres that will get my money.

We had an awesome experience at Funtopia for my daughter's 7th birthday with her school friends. Special mention to Wayne at the front counter, who accommodated our special requests, as well as Stella who ran the party and made things run like clockwork. Good variety of climbing experiences here, as well as about 4 play areas for the kids. Nice cafe for the parents to order food, snacks and drinks.

Great place for the whole family! Especially love that there are special days to cater for kids with additional sensory needs as that is something important to our family. Amazing staff, clean venue, they even catered to special dietary requirements we had last time we went. Love Funtopia.
