Funtopia Indoor Climbing & Playcentre - Maribyrnong

Great venue. We did the climb and play. Staff very helpful - special thanks to Ephrata for assisting the little ones to participate in the climbs.

I have recently come to the center to attend a birthday party. The staff at the climbing section were very rude to my kid. Your staff needs a lot of training to have some manners & politeness to the kids. Just because they are kids they does not mean you can be bossy over them. Kids are there to have fun so please try & talk to them politely to make them feel good & fun in your center. Also I saw two big kids in the Under 2 play area. One of the staff (guy wearing spectacles) was yelling at the 2 kids to come out. I could see so much anger & frustration at your staff face. Poor kids, they were so embarrassed. Cant they be addressed politely? This was my first experience at the center and will not come back again. Also center was too crowded. In general what I noticed was all staff there never smiled or seemed to not enjoy their job. Would like to see staff who are there to help you & make you feel welcomed not like robots. Worst customer service by staff.

This place is sooooo overrated! They have the smallest cubby for kids/adults to put there shoes! The seating capacity was ridiculous for the amount of people that go there considering the space they have that could be used for more seating arrangements! I would not go back there again!

The owner of the business is a big liar. They stuffed us around. We have been enquiring for booking date from last one week and upon asking the number of staff they going to provide us on the even day, they changed there wordings. We have been chasing them and want to make deposit but when asking what’s in the package they lied to us. Because we wanted everything in an email. Ridiculous, as they ruined our kid’s birthday party. Couple of people warned us about rude behaviour of owner but we ignored as our kids liked the venue. Don’t understand how people like them can run a business. Not ethical at all.

Ridiculous service. Owner of business doesn’t have etiquette to speak with customers, specially talking to women he doesn’t know. Being owner of business he should be obliged and kind but Hemal was very rude to my wife and sister. They need to learn how to treat customers specially who are with babies. Our child was crying so my wife got distracted because of which Hemal left her and didn’t attended her. God knows how he is running business. Would like people to very careful and think twice before going there with kids.

Super fun place for the kids. I would book in advance it does get busy.
Coffee is good to for the adults

The kids are surely having fun. The downside is the food n drink is a bit pricey. I wasn't really mind spending nearly $90 on food n drinks for 4 kids. The only thing that got me annoyed was when I asked for extra sweet chili sauce & sour cream for the $9 wedges (which is reasonable price), they said it's extra $2 for a small container of sauce, so it will cost me $4 for the extra sauce which I find doesn't make sense. I don't mind paying 50cent-$1 a sauce but not $2. Being a smarty-pants. Can I next time buy a bowl of wedges without sauce for $5? Should I bring my own sauce next time?

This playcentre is refreshingly clean. I was actually so impressed that I asked the staff who cleaned the playground and they half hesitantly responded that they all clean the play area throughout the day… When I commended them on how clean the establishment was, they were relieved, assuming that I might have thought it was dirty. Far from it. You guys hold such a high standard in your cleanliness that you could really teach some of the other playcentres a thing or two. It is apparent the moment you step into your establishment and you should be Congratulated for maintaining such a high standard for the health, safety and well-being of your patrons. I felt compelled to write you a review because I was really impressed. Well done guys! You are now our new favourite playcentre, so we will see you weekly?

A lovely experience, goes without saying the cafe is amazing. Staff are very kind, Mila was very attentive and encouraging. My kid loves funtopia, it’s always her go to place.

Busy but a great space for kids to play. The climbing area is good for the older ones & the soft playground is massive.

A best place for kids fun and adventure activities. Also great for organising birthday parties but too noisy at times.

My kids enjoyed playing, however the food was not good at all the chips was dry and the pizza was not cooked properly

Awesome place but way too overcrowded for it to be safe and enjoyable for a toddler. Probably ok and better suited to older kids when busy.

Rock climbing walls are amazing! Great fun for for kids especially older kids 5+, but not sure why there were teenage kids running around like maniacs through the 2 year old section. Was very annoying there was no one policing it- was scaring my little girl and they were pushing past her a running around and around again. Seemed like the were were way too many kids there aswell not sure how that works with social distancing.

I did my daughter's 6 year birthday party last Saturday here with her friends and their parents, she enjoyed the climbing activies and the other areas too. Also i am thankful to the staffs out there who helped me get a party hall even when it was completely booked on that day.

My son had his 2nd birthday here, the staff were great, food was amazing,
Only criticism I have is maybe the food allocation & cake time was too limited, 12: 50 rush to eat & then cut cake at 1: 15 & kicked out at 1: 30.besides that it was fantastic & will recommend:)

Had a kids birthday here, great environment, food provided was great (pizza, sausage rolls, party pies).
Staff were friendly and kept an eye on the kids, which was a place of mind to know if you can't see them, the staff members can.
I recommend funtopia for your kids.

Great venue for kids parties. Staff are professional, hardworking and very polite. Always willing to lend a hand.

We were the only adult doing the climbs. But all in all.fun. They could change the worn outfits used for white pass activity, like the one where you hold a rope and you release and slide down from the top.those overalls were a bit worn and dirty
