Fukutontei Ramen Greensborough

Ramen wasn’t good.too salty and taste don’t like Japanese ramen soup. (I think fried shallots’ flavour too heavy)
But environment and staff were good

My mum and I went here and we both ordered the ramen. The broth and noodles were tasty but unfortunately the meat was of poor quality - too much fat. The food took a bit longer than expected but overall I enjoyed it

Decently priced with polite staff. Very large portions and the food is very good. Great place for lunch

Don't go here expecting to be waited on hand and foot and have waiters asking how's your meal. This is what the people saying bad service should say. You fill out your order wishes and pay and that is the end of your service. Which is totally fine. I think the prices are a tad above average. But the taste more then make up for it.

The meals will take a little bit of time if they are busy. But this allows you to have a chat and socialize with whoever you are with. Making it a perfect date night or social outing location. Order a few more drinks to make up for it. The meals will be HOT so be prepared for a bit more convo while they cool. But the size, broth and meats are all excellent. They are a large bowl so take that into consideration if you order entrees

Of the restaurants in this area this is the best. You are seated by the friendly waitress and given chopsticks and servettes. Soon after she bought water for us both. You order by checking out the menu which has a good choice then noting down the menu number and quantity on an order book with provided pen. I started with miso soup. It's good, nice little chunks of tofu and the broth is lovely. My friend had Udon noodles chicken. He gave it a 3 due to the large chucks of cabbage and onion but that's personal taste. I got the spicy pork salad for main which has a poached egg on top. The pork and onion are stir fried and added to a salad of greens, cherry tomatoes with cucumber around the plate to cool your mouth. It's sauce is basically a mayo base with extra flavours.
I've had the sashimi here before it was good tasty and fresh. The sukiyaki when I had it is not cooked at your table like most places. It's an avoid for me. Overall it's pretty good for the mall.

The pork was tough and hard to chew and it is one of the only ramen places that didn’t leave me satisfied with the taste after I was done. Would also be much better if the extra noodles were served separately

Great place, has an interesting way of ordering food. Fill out what you want on the check box sheet and take it up and pay.

Has awesome meals to choose from to instead which looks healthier.

Need to try to honey tea as well as it’s really yummy.

We usually order the veggie rice meal or one of the soups.

Awesome pork Ramen. Definitely worth a try for its rich broth and large portion. Costs are also very fair, staff are also fast, friendly and efficient. Definitely a place to come back to and I shall many many Ramen options. Would like to see more chicken options but the current selection if very well done. Menu for the Ramen is a bit confusing as it dose not list what broth base it has with the exception of soy base for one option while the rest are all blank. But definitely not a deal breaker as the staff are more then happy to help with finding out.

10/10 would Ramen again
7/10 for the views (inside shopping centre)

Good food, But never order on menulog from this joint, cuz they never deliver your food.they steal it! Its fantastic. These menulog drivers should lose their job but nah they keep on stealing food, its great!

Good fast service. Good menu selection. Excellent presentation. Reasonable prices. Be prepared for a wait if you arrive during a busy period. Don't expect intimate ambience.

Went to their new store in Box Hill plaza. Was quite busy but still managed to get seating. Ramen was good without being super delicious. Also tried a couple sides and was decent too. Disappointed that they had beer on menu but weren't allowed to serve any as they didn't have license.

Been here twice now. Always welcomed and attended to quickly. Drinks are delish and so far haven't gone wrong on any dish choices. SUCH GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. Ramen is so delish and very worthy of a try. Soft shell crab is absolutely amazing (we came back for it hehe) We ordered alot of food the first time cause it was cheap and thought it would be small portions but we left very pleasantly surprised and so full! I didn't want to waste all the delish food. Will be back!

The food is not fresh. I order the Takoyaki. It was the bad bad taste and froze inside.

It's like 7/10 store, soup is bit salty for my taste, flavour is above average, portion is big enough.

Maybe not a must try, but it's nice to know there is another good restaurant near.

This is the sort of place I wind up when it's cold and raining and I want a bit of a homely pick me up. I've really enjoyed the different varieties of ramen I've tried so far, and I find the portion size to be perfect. I also really like the ordering method: pick what you want, record it on the sheet, go up and pay. Simple and efficient.

Great menu, bad food.

The ramen we ordered came boiling hot. The noodles were low quality store bought, the egg over-cooked and the soup salty and lacking the pork flavour it should have. 0/5

Gyozas were mediocre. 1 of them had large a chunk of ginger in them ruining the flavour. 2/5

Spicy sliced pork with rice was tasty and checked all the boxes. However the chili it came with was overly spicy. I think staff should notify customers when they place their order about the spiciness but thankfully I was able to remove it otherwise. 4/5

Staff whilst friendly, did not understand English and it was hard to communicate. 1/5
Will not return.

Best ramen broth around. However if you don't order the "40.curry udon" you're a damn fool.
