Fukutontei Ramen Greensborough

Used to be better a few years ago. I’d say the general quality. Portions. Etc has all gone down notably over the last 24 months. Plus their menu could use some reimagining as it’s been the same for a very long time now

Tables always blocking my path to the register as a wheelchair user. The food is great but no allergen menu that I know of so I can no longer eat here

I ordered a meal via UBEREATS at 5: 45pm and apparently the restaurant gave it to someone else, with me still waiting over 1 hour later. It’s really disappointing that the restaurant would do that, and I have received no apology or refund. After being a regular customer, I’ll be reconsidering my dining choices now

Response to restaurant response below: That is incorrect. Your restaurant admitted giving my meal off to someone else. As a result, I had to wait an extra hour for my meal because of the error of your business. Unless you offer a refund, I find the matter unresolved.

Innovative ordering system - fill in a paper form and hand it in at the register. Very efficient. Great food at a good price.

I’m addicted to a couple of the spicy dishes here but I can’t always handle the heat! There is always enough left over for an extra lunch the next day.
Always busy and only the shopping centre location prevents 5 stars across all areas.

Milkshakes yummy, banana shake tasted like real banana unlike some others I’ve tried. Buns were mostly pretty good. The fried chicken bun was my favourite soo good, beef bun next best and the paiku bun was meh.

Both ramen were quite nice and the gyoza in mine were good. Food came quickly and service was good. I also appreciated the big pictures in the menu for those like me who still have to familiarise themselves with Japanese cuisine. More like a 4.5 star over a 5 but def was happy with everything

Only dropped a star because the location kinda sucks. Food is always amazing, staff are friendly. Reserve a table on a Friday night to avoid a long wait!

Um so i went out with my friend & fiancée for dinner last night and i noticed that my ramen karage was undercooked but ignored it because i thought it may have just been pink, not raw! I was very wrong! The following morning/day i have been feeling sick to my stomach!

Its such a shame because Fukutontei in south morang has been on our bad books for a while so we thought we travel to Greensborough Fukutontei! I now have second thoughts about going back!: (Fukutontei doesn’t live up to my expectations anymore!

The staff are nice but they should really have sesame seed & chilli oil set aside for customers but you gotta ask!

Had a really good meal, the pork curry Udon on hotpot. The pork was super tasty and the curry soup had a nice spice. The tempura also really good.

Decent and filling Japanese fare with Chinese overtones. This is our regular lunch spot when we're at Greensborough plaza. I love the seafood teppanyaki myself!

Really saddened by the disappointing Ramen.

(Components were) pre prepared and refrigerated. Very oily. Generally not quite right.

As an aside- staff were all speaking Cantonese.

Edit: Egg yolk was cold (and hard) despite being in hot broth

To anyone who enjoys ramen and lives locally, Fukutontei is a great place to relax and enjoy a nice bowl of ramen. Not to mention the relatively fast service and cheap prices. Shame it's closed on Tuesdays though.

We have been eating here almost every fortnight for the past year and it has always been a great experience. The staff has been always been nice to us. Would recommend 10/10!

Gorgeous Japanese in the heart of Greensborough! Fresh, delicious ingredients, warm sake and friendly service, always busy and fast turnover. Great for kids to enjoy the use of chopsticks too!

There is nothing more I can say, this is the best restaurant in Greensborough! This is the only place we can get authentic Japanese food in Greensborough and the food is always good. On top of that, the staff are really friendly and have the best customer service. My son loves going here for the geso karaage and miso soup.

This place is my go to for Japanese locally, the staff are very friendly, the chefs are legit. The food is quality. Look no where but this restraunt if you are ever feeling Japanese food.

I was craving for tonkatsu and was so happy there is a highly rated restaurant selling tonkatsu in the area. Big disappointment! The pork taste n smell terrible. Like they used old pork. I almost vomited when I ate the fat part. The rice was not soft, like half- cooked. Worst experience ever. The only good dish was the salads.

Excellent, enjoyed a nice spicey beef ramen. Quick service. Very tasty indeed. I would eat here again.

Met with a laugh by the worker when I asked if they had anything vegan and then she offered me rice. Have some respect for customers allergy or ethical choices please. And it's 2022, you should be catering for everyone instead of excluding.

The ramen broth is good.however, the meat, pork belly slices are as thin as paper and almost fats.i also think its overpriced a bit
