My first purchase was a Make Noise 0-Coast. Lewis said to me "Enjoy your journey! " referring to my first modular synth adjacent product purchase. I laughed and said "hahah I wont be one of those guys. ". I was wrong, and Lewis was right. I love the crew at Found Sound and buying locally means you get local support which, in my experience, has been top notch - no two ways about it. The staff are friendly, know who I am when i call and what interests me creatively. Pricing is also good factoring in local support and relationship. You can't ask for more than that.

Awesome shop! The staff was really helpful and let me try a ton of guitars. I ended up with a second hand instrument from a private sale but my visit to this shop bought me peace of mind. Will definitely come back for strings, setup and everything else. Their price on new guitars were also very competitive and I could not find anything better online. Highly recommended

I was very happy with the sales and service from Found Sound.
I had ordered the Maton MS2000 STG and was pleasantly surprised with how quickly it had arrived from Victoria. It was well packed and arrived with no issues.
To say that I am happy with the guitar is an understatement. I am absolutely over the moon.

I've been a customer of Found Sound for a few years now. They have an amazing selection of eurorack gear. The staff know their stuff and are very helpful. I can't overstate how good the customer service is. It's not just good when they're selling you something but more importantly when they respond to a problem too, no matter how small. Having been on both sides of the fence in retail before it's not something I could say about many dealers. Keep up the great work.

I bought a Fender Stratocaster from Found Sound and I'm extremely happy with it. The staff are incredibly helpful, the setup is outstanding, and in over three decades of playing, Found Sound provided me with the very best buying experience I've ever had when getting a guitar. The people at Found Sound know their stuff and they'll help you find the right guitar for you.

I bought a Squier Paranormal Baritone and I was very happy with both the service and the guitar. The store has just moved to a new location and it looks like it will be a beautiful showroom. I plan on going back soon to pick up something from their used guitars because they have a very good selection of new and used. With some rare icons. Guitar stores should all be this way but in Melbourne there is only one Found Sound. I look forward to my next visit.

Bought a new '64 Princeton Reverb on back order from Lewis at FoundSound recently.

Lewis was great to talk to and arrange it all and it came much earlier than expected in perfect condition.

Will be buying from FoundSound in the future.

The best music store in Australia, without exception. A friendly and welcoming atmosphere, helpful advice given without an ounce of sales pressure, and a massive range of high-quality gear at reasonable prices. An absolute treasure. I’d give them 6 stars if I could - the 4.9 average rating is too low.

Great service, had an issue with the manufacturer not shipping the plug adaptor for Australia and they immediately sorted it out and got my an adaptor.

This is my favourite music store in Melbourne! All of the staff are so helpful and accommodating. They are patient and passionate. I was also treated equally and valued as a women, which I have not experienced in other music stores! I would highly recommend this store for beginners and pros alike!

Bought a Crowther Hot Cake 2020 pedal online, response was quick, friendly and competent, shipping was fast, pedal sounds glorious and got to Romania unscathed in roughly a week. I even asked them for a specific shipping carrier and they had no problem with that.

Would definitely use this store again in the future, had a great experience this time.
