Such great food and drinks. The sliders are amazing value, and your watermelon cocktail is moreish  However, our servers attitude really put a damper on our experience. I'd ordered a pair of socks to support the business and our waiter made it seem like we'd spat in her face by purchasing them. This attitude continued with the service throughout the night despite us showing utmost respect.

I get hospitality workers aren't treated well, but we had done nothing to deserve this

Good range of food but not as good as we were expecting. Service was excellent & priced well.

This is a great place to catch up with friends and with a large group. There are many vegan and vegetarian options, which are all delicious.

Terrible Service one dish came out and was raw chicken and the other dish never showed up they refunded us after a 15 minute ordeal of back and forth with the manager and did not provide us with any further compensation absolutely do not eat here!

I went to this restaurant on my anniversary with my partner we both ordered food and one dish came out, we were waiting over 20 minutes for my partners dish (which never showed up). When I took a bite of my dish the chicken was pink and completely raw. Upon showing this to a staff member they agreed and gave us only a partial refund, which took at least a further 20 minutes to establish. About an hour later back at my hotel I began throwing up violently I called back to the restaurant to let them know and the “manager” refuted that any food had been sent back during this evening she also said that the chicken they use is “pre-cooked and they only season it so it would be impossible for us to receive raw chicken”. They are flat out denying any further refund or compensation. Terrible service, Terrible Food and despicable management practice as a former hospitality employee of several years this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. Ruined my anniversary!

Food was average. Service was terrible, I ordered at the front bar. Entree came out on time then the rest of our food except for our side order and drinks, we asked three times for our drinks and side order, even going down to the bar to see where it was as they were just standing around as no one knew what was going on with our order. We finally go our drinks at the end of our meal. When we finished our meal and we were about to leave, they came up with our side of fries. I told them we didn't want them now as we were leaving, she said that she forgot to put it through even though we were charged for it.
There are way better Mexican restaurants around for the money they charge.

Food was pretty decent, quesadillas were pretty nice, tacos were nice. Lighting in the venue is not great. Staff were okay, a bit dismissive.
Fine place for starting off a night of drinking. Wouldn't recommend for a fancy dinner or special occasion.

Food was cold when served and took ages to come. There are better Mexican restaurants around.

Walked in at 6: 30 on a Friday night & we were lucky to get a table for two.
This is the biggest Fonda restaurant we’ve ever been too & it was pumping, the service was good, food was delicious, great atmosphere & reasonably priced…. Can’t wait to go back for more.

I ordered a take away for pick up from here. It took much longer than I expected and was expensive for what it was. Although was yummy, probably won’t be doing that again

For what you pay the portion sizes are small and there is no flavour. Nacho's were burnt, margarita tasted like extremely dilute cordial, taco's were mushy and unpleasant. Just lacked flavour and freshness. Only upside was it had a cool indoor vibe

Last night I was invited to a birthday to your restaurant in Flinders Lane.when we got to the restaurant everything was fine,
we ordered our food and drinks with the QR code,
and we entered the table No 71, the problem was when the waitress began to bring the food and drinks,
the waitress took our order to another table, we told her that it was for us,
until there everything was fine, a honest mistake,
then we ordered more drinks, the same thing happened again,
as if they had no idea where the table numbers were,
and this happened several times, with the last order,
I told the waitress that I was disappointed with the service,
the only thing they need to do is to remember where the tables numbers were or
invent another system because this one wasn’t working,
she only listened to me, but the worst of all was,
when a woman from another table but in, defending the waitress,
she told me that it was unfair and I didn't have to talk to her like that,
I didn't yell at her or offend her, I just told her that I was disappointed with the service,
when this woman turned around and went to her table, which was in front of ours,
she turned around and looked at me and told me a few times to F *** OFF,
I found her to be very rude and my friends also thought the same, Later I find out who she was,
one of the floor managers of this restaurant, and she as a representative of your restaurant,
although she was off duty, she should not had spoken to me in that manner.
As I was leaving I spoke with the manager at the time who happened to be the same person that I mentioned about the service,
she was very apologetic for the service and what happened regarding the off duty manager.
The off duty manager is the main reason why I am writing a BAD REVIEW,
only the service is bad but also the staff does not know how to treat their customers.

Anoche me invitaron a un cumpleaños en su restaurante en Flinders Lane.cuando llegamos al restaurante todo estaba bien,
ordenamos nuestra comida y bebidas con el código QR,
y entramos la mesa No 71, el problema fue cuando la mesera empezó a traer la orden,
la camarera llevó nuestro pedido a otra mesa, le dijimos que era para nosotros,
hasta que todo estuvo bien, un error honesto,
luego pedimos más bebidas, volvió a suceder lo mismo,
como si no tuvieran idea de dónde estaban los números de la mesa,
y esto sucedió varias veces, con el último pedido,
Le dije a la mesera que estaba decepcionado con el servicio,
lo único que deben hacer es recordar dónde estaban los números de las tablas o
inventar otro sistema porque éste no funcionaba,
ella solo me escuchó, pero lo peor de todo fue,
cuando una mujer de otra mesa se metio defendiendo a la mesera,
me dijo que era injusto y que no tenía que hablarle así,
No le grité ni la ofendí, solo le dije que estaba decepcionado con el servicio,
cuando esta mujer se dio la vuelta y se dirigió a su mesa, que estaba frente a la nuestra,
ella se dio la vuelta y me miró y me dijo un par de veces que me fuera a la P*** MADRE,
La encontré muy grosera y mis amigos también pensaron lo mismo, Más tarde descubrí quién era,
uno de los gerentes de piso de este restaurante, y ella como representante de su restaurante,
aunque estaba fuera de servicio, no debería haberme hablado de esa manera.
Cuando me iba, hablé con el gerente de ese momento, quien resultó ser la misma persona que le mencioné sobre el servicio.se disculpó mucho por el servicio y lo que sucedió con respecto al gerente fuera de servicio.
El gerente fuera de servicio es la razón principal por la que estoy escribiendo una MALA REVISIÓN,
sólo el servicio es malo pero también el personal no sabe cómo tratar a sus clientes.

The food is tasty but if you are really starving this is not the place I recommend you, they serve small portions. I had to ask for napkings as they didnt get them for me when served the dishes.also I asked for fork but they never got it for me.

We were 7, had a good experience, great and fast food service, good ambience, staff was welcoming but was little pricy:)

Thank you Linda and Olivia for outstanding service. Food was delicious, the fu hot salsa was top shelf! Wonderful dinner, wine and service. We will definitely be back.

Ps - please request chef to bottle the hot salsa!

I celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday last Friday and everything was absolutely amazing! We received all the food and drinks we ordered super fast and also I asked to the team if I could get extra chairs as we were so many! They were nice and helpful:) Unfortunately some people at the table next to us had a problem with their drinks and were so rude and disrespectful with the staff, I don’t know if they were drunk or just annoying but even if it wasn’t our problem, the situation was bit uncomfortable…
Thanks to the staff to help us to accommodate all our guest, we had an incredible experience and we definitely will come back!

Decent food and portion size, loved the margaritas. The salad could have some dressing as it seems bit dry. Will definitely go back

These guys do alright mexican food. I ordered four different tacos and only really enjoyed two of them (the prawn and beef were really flavours one and tasty, the fish tasted like just fish and the chicken had too much sauce). I just feel like this place is too ‘big’ and so it’s lost it’s charm. Unfortunately covid hasn’t helped that vibe, as it feels as though you’re just being ‘churned through’. Once you order you barely have time to relax and let the meal sit before staff are asking you to finish up for the next booking. Not my favourite mexican but wouldn’t not return.

Food tastes good but adding $10 for extras when you get the same amount of food overall is just robbery. Won’t be coming back.

I am so glad to have finally found a place that served these amazing mushroom Birria Tacos! And how amazing are the cocktails especially the Chilli Mango Margarita. Incredible drink and delicious food:)

Definitely visiting the restaurant again!
