Flying Tarts Bakery & Cafe reviews
52Love this place - always stop off here before going off on a walk / hike to get some baked goods. Really grrat food and staff are always happy when I've been here! Love this bakery - me and my partners fav
Where else do you stop on the way through Kinglake, warm friendly welcoming. As well as great coffee and snacks
Unbelievable meat pies. Everything is made freshly on premises. Good prices. Family owned business. So Freindly staff. Loved the steak and mushroom pie
Great local bakery that we drop in when traveling through this wonderful area. Has plenty of choices of savoury or sweet dishes. Staff are efficient and there is plenty of parking. Outside seating available when busy.
Beautiful service, staff are amazing, food was very yummmmmmmmmmy & will back in the future.
Top quality and affordably priced. We dropped in there for the first time recently, and had a couple of pies. They were so good we went back in and got a family sized quiche and some cinnamon donuts to take away. Everything was fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!
The food is great and always fresh. BUT.you MUST do something about your driveway and parking area. The DUST is intolerable. You have such a great outdoor undercover balcony area but it is absolutely ruined by the dust that is kicked up by the cars coming and going. No apple turnover no matter how fresh it is, survives the dust storm every time a car goes past.
Best thing was the sausage rolls. Ham and salad rolls were mostly carrot and the rolls were a little aged, coffee was very watery and the vanilla slice was coagulated and hardened. Staff seemed to be having a bad time.
Best bakery in the state! Has come so far in the time I've lived up in Kinglake from an abandoned old building to a bustling busy bakery that it is now!
Very poor customer service wrong drinks brought to our table even though we had a number. When the drinks arrived served in take away cups with the excuse they are closing soon more than 40 minutes still to go. Good selection of cakes but lack flavour topped with very sweet cream or meringue almost sickening.
On a cold wintry drive, nothing beats a quick stop at a bakery. This bakery is famous in the area as it is so I expected no less than good to great baked stuff. Put it this way, some bits were great and some bits were just good. Nice warm heaters too. Stop if you're in the area.
