Flour + Salt

Ordered 3 pizzas on a Saturday night, the dough seemed like it was prepared the day before, for the price and reputation I would at least expect pizza made on dough that didn't have the consistency of the box it came in.

2.5 rating. Gluten free option for a margarita pizza was $21 I could make a better version for $9. Cocktails were very 'permanent marker'. I paid so much for a classic gin martini and I believe it was cheap vodka. All of the lemon drinks tasted like sunscreen or just straight up chemicals. I'm sorry but I will not visit again until this issue is addressed appropriately. But the service was wonderful and the waiters were amazing and caring. 10/10 location

We recently had a family dinner for my stepsons 18th birthday at Flour + Salt. Michael and his team were amazing hosts. The food was amazing, the service was amazing and friendly and Michael organised our large group an area to ourselves. The way we were looked after was outstanding and that level of attention is difficult to find these days but it certainly wasn’t at Flour + Salt. Thanks Micheal and thank you to your team also.

The best pasta! Hidden place. Pasta cooking was perfect. Will come back.

Amazing food! Most delicious Italian I have had in a long time! The service was great and it really showed that the staff knew what to recommend! Restaurant was lovely and cozy for the winter occasion.

Muscles with focaccia is recommended, as well as the scallops. Fresh authentic flavours on the pizza as well.

Incredible food and amazing service. We ordered a few pizzas and the pasta special, and can only say it’s been one of the dinners we’ve had in Melbourne. Welcoming and warm waiters checking on us and top notch meals. Would certainly dine here again.

We were looking for a pizza and pasta place that was family friendly and close to home so decided to try flour + salt.

We'd definitely recommend booking if planning to come here on a Friday evening.

The restaurant is situated on station Street and we found Street parking reasonably easily.

When we arrived we were seated quickly with menus already at the table ready for us to order at our convenience.

Apart from kids meals for the little ones we ordered pizzas and a calzone for the adults.

Drinks and food didn't take too long to arrive with everything looking good and also tasted good.

Overall a pleasant experience.

A great evening was had. Very extensive menu, good food and wine list and excellent service, lovely staff all round. A bit noisy, but that's just the way modern restaurants are with all the hard surfaces. Looking forward to another visit, maybe sitting outside on the quiet side-street on a nice evening.

We had a very good experience. We were welcomed and the service was checking at us if everything is fine. The pizza was very tasty and came quite quick. Would reccomend to eat here if you feel about good italian food.

I went here for dinner with the family and it was quite nice food especially the special seafood black ink squid and seafood pasta. The pizza was ok. The service good although we got all different waiters and waitresses. Food came out pretty slow.

I wish i could take some pictures before eating, but the food here is beyond AMAZING. Everyone here is soo welcoming and nice to you. The woodfire pizzas are authentic, loaded and soo delicious. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone, amazing coffee and desserts too.
