This is my 4th repair and they’ve done a great job every time.

Dropped off my iPad for Repairs and even though I took a little longer than expected, due to a few complications we never expected. The guys did a great job at a competitive price.

Coming from over seas and the Ipone SE (charged) dropped dead.
Diagnosed and restarted in 2 min. Very professional and nice staff explaining everything. Super.

First class old fashion service, nothing to much trouble, Another problem I had’nt seen was just taken care of. Can’ not speak highly enough of them.

Amazing service and staff! Phone went from looking like a kaleidoscope to being fully functional in less than a couple hours. Server was amazing to talk to, and price was completely fair considering my phone was basically One colourful Piece of shattered glass and came back pristine. Will hopefully NOT be back soon considering the implication, but if my phone breaks again, I’ll know where I’ll be going!:)

Gem was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with advice for phones for my tweens, potential problems I’m facing & solutions for these. He also investigated my faulty car phone mechanism and solutions.
He also gave me some great recommendations.

Solved a difficult problem with a simple solution, faster and cheaper than another quote I received. And all after Apple told me it was un-fixable and I would need to buy a new phone.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with Fix a Phone Elsternwick. Our 2 iPads were fixed quickly, however when we used one of them after approx 15 minutes of using it for the first time the screen went black (which had not been an issue before - it was just repairing a cracked screen but the screen itself kept working).

When we took it back to the shop they took the iPad and later called saying there was further damage to the new screen. They said they could not see the damage initially because it was dirty. We had only just used the iPad once and there was no damage when we returned it to get fixed a second time nor was it dirty. Despite this it obviously became a “he said” “she said” issue and we just wanted our iPad to be repaired so ended up paying again (with a 15% discount) to get it fixed for a second time.

They kept our first damaged screen but the second one was thrown in the bin despite us querying the damage. The photo of the damaged second screen they were using as proof was taken the day it was repaired rather than a photo at the time it was dropped off which was almost a week earlier. None of it added up. They said they could show security footage from the day it was repaired but not from the day it was dropped off. Again despite us querying that the damage must have actually occurred after we dropped it off to their care.

My advice for anyone taking anything here would be to carefully inspect anything you have repaired before leaving the shop. And if you have any problems after it has been repaired carefully inspect and take photos videos etc. At the shop when dropping it off. I wish I had done this to avoid the time and energy spent trying to understand what went terribly wrong here.

The man I dealt with was at times rude and dismissive but when I really explained that he just needed to be kind and hear what I had to say he did try and change his approach. I understand what owning a business is like and was just trying to work out what on earth had happened here and why we are out of pocket now so much Money and still had only one iPad not working when both worked fine before they came in.

In hindsight I would have left the screens cracked put a protector on and use the funds spent here at fix a phone on buying a new iPad.

Took my Moto Android in after it failed. Fix A Phone spent a couple of hours to come to the conclusion that it was now an expensive brick. No charge and Steve advised me on the next phone I should buy to meet my needs.

Bought the suggested phone and took it them to test and extract the sim card that i'd stuck in the slot. Phone came back repaired and tested for a minimal charge. Very happy with both the service and advice.
My wife had prevously used them for issues with her iphone and raved about them. I now understand why.

As soon as I walk in the door, I am greeted by the friendly Steve.
I take my iPhone 11 in as it has a broken LCD screen.
He explains to me exactly what will be done to fix my phone.
I am given a loan phone for the day so that I can still contact or be reached if needed.
Within 2 hours I receive a message telling me my phone is repaired.
I have been here for charge port problems, water damage and cracked/broken screens for a few different phones.
