64Beautiful place to visit and relax! Nice and sheltered from wind. Great place to get married too!
Really nice gardens. Great for a walk, picnic, take the kids and dogs. Very scenic, Green and colourful
Had a lovely picnic here today along with lots of other "little groups" of people enjoying the warmth and the outdoors!
Beautiful Gardens. Very well maintained. Love going here for picnics. Its so serene and lovely. Great for families, couples, friends, solos. It has some short walking trails for casual walks. Parking in the free areas right next to the Garden on the weekend can be hard to find as it gets busy but there’s also paid Wilson parking nearby
I go there several times a year. Parking attendants are always there! If you overstay your parking in the 1 hour parking bays, you will get fined! So try and find the free unlimited parking that kicks in from 12: 30 PM Saturdary arvo

Fitzroy Gardens are absolutely stunning all year around. It is well maintained, with lots of different plants trees and beautiful flowers. The expansive grassy areas are suitable for picnics, working out, and chilling out. There is a large network of pathways suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. The garden is highly recommended for family portraits, engagements photography and even wedding photography in particular if you are planning a small wedding ceremony.
One of the most beautiful and tranquil gardens in Melbourne, also great memorial for emergency services lost in our fires and floods, love it
Lovely for a walk with good coffee at kere kere near Capt Cook's cottage.
The only drawback is the almost continuous cacophony of leaf blowers in autumn and winter.
I went for a walk through the Fitzroy gardens on Mother's Day so relaxing and you have to visit the conservatory the variety of flowers in their is beautiful always nice and warm in their even when it's freezing outside and the cower arrangement in their is forever changing
Absolutely beautiful area. Well kept flora and many functions for everybody. Great place for a peaceful visit!
Really lovely park, lots of secluded spots for privacy and lots of open areas for picnics.close to the city so easy to get to.and there's even a lovely Cafe in the center of the park.
Beautiful gardens especially during autumn. Excellent for walking and picnic. One small playground located inside the park.
Fitzroy gardens, a gem of Melbourne's green cityscape.
The countless groves, greenhouses, ponds and grassy knolls.
Fitzroy gardens is lush with a variety of beautifully manicured and diverse floral hideaways.
Don't get to close to the locals! The possums may look cute and get real close! But they don't want a pat
Whether you need to calm the nerves, clear the head or just get some fresh air.
I found it a good hot spot for catching Pokemon while you're either walking around the gardens or having a picnic with friends. The model of tudor village is awesome. Cooks cottage house. Great place for Community Day for Pokemon Go
Probably once of the nicest gardens in Australia, a short walk from Parliament station. Cant really beat it! Note its legal to drink in the park, so long as its during the day and you're responsible about it.
Beautiful, well maintained, popular with weddings and picnics but plenty of room for all. Only one, remote, toilet (SW corner) so plan ahead
Great scenery, I honestly felt like I was in a different part of Melbourne, could barely hear any traffic or public transport, and overall a quite chilled garden, good for a small walk or something.
Beautiful, well maintained gardens. A lovely place to spend a morning wandering around with plenty to see.
A gorgeous semi-formal public park with mature trees, large spaces of lawn and many interesting features such as ponds and fountains. Overall the park is very well maintained.
