54Lush green wide open spaces with plenty of luxuriant exotic shade trees, sports fields and meandering shady paths to stroll jog or walk the dog. Very friendly lovely grounds to relax or picnic.i love these grounds.and as a prime inner city park it is always lush and green, even when suburban and regional parks are scorched with brown dry lawns.
One of the best parks in Melbourne that makes you almost forget you're in the city. A great place to play some sport or have a BBQ. I also like the wide paths that easily accommodate both cyclists and people walking / running.
Lots of open, grassed space to have a social game of sports. Lovely tree avenues and a kids play area on the one side. It's big and conveniently close to the Alfred hospital.
Nice park to walk around during the day with the kids. Plenty of open ovals and tree along pathways allow for good photo opportunities. It is very beautiful in the evening and there is a playground on one side that the kids enjoy. Parking can be limited though at times.
Beautiful city skyline views, nice food and and friendly people in a peaceful setting. Highly recommended for any visitors to have dinner in the park.
One of the best place to spent time with friends anf family. This id very good place for barBque. There are plenty of space for kids to pkay around. I loved the place very much.

Beautiful and spacious park. Variety of sports ground available. Toilet facility is available. Clean environment. Shaded walkways. Sufficient amount of benches. Shaded walkways that cuts through the park. Great for outdoor sport, picnic, school activities, health and fitness training, etc.
Huge! This is a lovely park with lots of space for different sports, a big playground, heaps of benches and tables for picnics etc and lovely, well maintained gardens. Great for a lunchtime walk or picnic.
Just another amazing Park in Melbourne suitable for walking, Running, picnic and dog walk there is designated area for off leash dogs.
Beautiful and nice but dogs should be on leash especially around lunch time which most of poeple having something to eat
And dogs bother them because of smells
