Fawkner Park reviews
54Such a wonderful public park, beautifully cared for by MCC. The daffodil planting is a sight to behold. Thank you for this space.
That’s our favorite park with 2 playgrounds for kids. The atmosphere is great and we love jogging around the park.
Wonderfully maintained park, good place for a decent afternoon with family or jogging. One can reach there with 58 or 72 tram.
A very clean park, with plenty of surrounding cafes & restaurants, it's a great location to get take away (Just Falafs) and have a picnic. Also has BBQ's, playground & plenty of ovals.
Beautiful park with lots of space, stunningly planted trees and lots of space dedicated to football, rugby, cricket and basketball as well as picnic and kids areas. The perfect park both size and utilities wise
Magnificent parkland. Huge green area close to the city. Sports well catered for, i.e. Tennis club, football ovals, cricket pitches, quidditch, family recreation etc. Minimal public bathroom facilities. Transport and parking ample.
Huge park with lots of nice paths to walk around, it's great to see how busy all the sporting fields are each weekend.
This is a really big park situated near CBD. They have a lot of grounds where you can play variety of games including cricket, football, tennis, footie etc. It's ideal for walk or jogging as well.
If it’s a sunny day and you just want to have a peaceful spot, or a place to hang out with your friends and or families with kids.
Quiet & lots of shade under large trees when required.vast park to walk, cycle, dog friendly with sports areas! Beautiful now in Autumn
Good playground for kids, lots of space to go running, play soccer or any other sport you like. Here and there some free barbecue spots to enjoy a day out
Beautiful park.so many different areas, sporting ovals, cricket pitches, nets, playgrounds, BBQ's and stunning flora.
So many dogs. Just, the most dogs. Go here to see dogs. Also, there's good grassy spots to chill or kick a ball around if you're into that!
Beautiful park.
Magnificent trees management and care off the park is off the highlight quality.
A exclent place for those in hospital to on occasions be lucky enough to spend some recovery time here a 50 metre journey across the road from the Alfred hospital.
Great local park. Several sports fields, running track, toilets and picnic tables. Can be abit dodgy at night but it's usually fine.
Always love walking around Fawkner Park. Today was particularly good because we learned some history too. It was pretty hot at times.
A historic park with walking track and hugh elm tree and alike. In earlier Melbourne 1800's this park was referred as Shit Carters Park and was where by horse ans cart, excrement was dumped. No reflection on it today.
Nice, well used public green space. People jogging, walking, eating lunch on the grass, playing soccer. Birds busking for treats, huge trees providing shade, well maintained sidewalks criss crossing the park. Water fountains available. Perfect use of space in great location.
Perfect park for a quiet moment, workouts, dog walking, social meeting and a perfect place for a meaningful conversations. I am a regular.
