Buying a couch during lockdown is either going to be a hit or miss. I thank Henry for assisting with finding out how deliveries will work during lockdown and giving me a description of comfortabilty and affordability on the couch I am interested in.
I originally spoke to the Highpoint store to Sue who was helpful but havent been able to get her assistance during the times I've called but have been getting another girl who has no customer service skills or the interest to sell.
Thanks to Kamran who was very polite and patiently listened to the type of furniture we were looking for. Excellent customer service provided by Kamran and Lucy. Both were very helpful and we will definitely visit again for more furniture.
Ridiculous! We ordered a Carlotta couch 4 months ago. Was told it would be 13 weeks wait. Paid for it in full. 15 weeks later still no sign of it. We call and they do not know where it is? Going to be another 13 weeks! Ha. No way. Refund!
Absolutely below zero customer service, Unprofessional. The delivery drivers came and dropped off the couch as you can see in the photo left it half in and half outside the unit. Advised me they can't bring it in, advised me to rip the package and take the cushions out and try then they left. After calling the store, their store manager offered me that they can hire a removalist with additional cost or wait till tomorrow morning and also risk not being ablw to recievw a full refund due to the packaging being opened. Like seriously, The item hasn't been delivered, It is in the blocks hall way. After talking to store manager I was told that they should have gave me the option of taking it back instead of advising me to rip it open. Anyways, Thanks to my neighbours who helped me to bring it in. Job was doable but because they had no idea what they were doing it took us 5 hrs from delivery to get the lounge in. And still have not been offered refund of delivery cost
Called just now and yesterday, each time was greeted by a sarcastic, rude woman.
As a business why are you not sending out emails even to say customers won't be able to pick up their paid for items. That's shocking customer service.
Last email said it was ready and I can pick up. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and RUDE ATTITUDES
Will be getting a refund.
Update: the person who processed my refund was lovely. Thank you for helping me. At least management is good to customers and follow up with you.

I had previously gone to the High Point store and had a shocking experience and never thought I'd use Fantastic Furniture but the Preston crew are absolutely fabulous and I'd highly recommend! Originally had a problem with stock showing online that wasn’t actually in store, but the workers in the despatch area did everything they could to help out and get us our desk in time for an early Christmas!
I ordered a bed online - got a call from the store within an hour of placing the order. They organised the delivery for the next morning. The bed was delivered at 8am the next day. Fantastic service!
Poor customer service.
We went there to check for the availability of products we purchased 2 weeks ago.as much as we're disappointed that the seats we ordered will take another week to be ready for pickup, we were more taken aback by the unfriendly and unaccommodating manner that we received. Felt more like the lady wants us to not ask and just go home (felt very unwelcomed to the store)
Now we're honestly considering if we should get benches from here as we don't want to feel like we're begging for stuff that we did or will purchase.
So impressed by the service from FF Preston. I had ordered 3 items all on seperate transactions and a lovely staff member noticed this and called me offering to refund 2 of the delivery fees I had paid, seeing as she noted they were all going to be delivered together anyway.
It was such a thoughtful thing to do and it took me by surprise. Most businesses would have ignored it and kept the money seeing as it was already paid and I hadn’t raised it with them for a refund. They also communicated so well - really FANTASTIC!
Dont know who hires these ladies as a customer service over there.they are so rude, i myself said Hi to them, asked them a question with a smile and all this time 2 of the ladies were extremely rude, didn't know how to talk and were not even ready to respond to my query.would never go in this store ever.let alone buying anything from them.

It took a month longer, but it got here and are currently enjoying our new set.
I want to thank Preston store, we understand that it wasn't on your side that it took so long.
When we first arrived to the store in May, we were greeted. Everyone was so very helpful, even during the process of purchasing.
During delivery, really appreciated the phone calls before hand as we live in an apartment.
Bought a 2.5 seater sofa and an ottoman 11 weeks ago. We were told it would take 6-8 weeks. It has been 11 yet we've been informed they still dont have the ottoman. They have the couch, but won't deliver it unless we pay a second delivery fee for the ottoman even though they lied to us about the 6-8 week timeframe. We'd have never purchased from here if we knew it would take 12+ weeks for basic furniture.
Absolutely rubbish service.
Rude and patronising (laughing) when I called the store to ask what time i should collect my order.
Couch broke after a few weeks having it and its been well over a month with no fix or replacement tried calling with little to no help just excuses on why its taking so long
Lucy from Preston store was lovely and very helpful. I was on a mission to find some discontinued stock and without her help and efforts I wouldn't have been able to find the items i was after. Thank you!
Have recently dealt with Fantastic Furniture at 19-33 Murray Road, Preston.
We did have a slight problem with the product we purchased so required it to have to be returned. We replaced it for the same product.
I would like to acknowledge the the superb service we received from Lucy. She was so polite, helpful and extremely friendly, nothing was a problem to her she went out of her way to help us. A big thank you Lucy.
We would not hesitate to deal with her in any future deals we do with Fantastic Furniture.
