Bought my wedding dress here in 2019 pre covid. The women who was my consultant was wonderful.   She actually suggested I try on a dress that I wasn't too sure of when looking at it on the hanger but once I put it on I fell in love and it was the dress I chose! Clearly knew what to recommend and helped me pick out and accessorise it. I also got my alterations done through fairytale. Due to covid we had to postpone several times and change plans and re schedule my fittings around the lockdowns but everytime fairytale was great to communicate with. I picked up my dress yesterday and it was perfect. Thank you fairytale bridal.

Fairly dissapointed with my bridesmaid experience.
My consultant was clearly inexperienced which is fine but to a point where my bridesmaids were uncomfortable and feeling bad about themselves?

If you offer all sizes in all styles and colours then please have them there to actually try on.

The sizing ran alot smaller than was advertised and the notion of just 'altering' everything to make a dress from $380 to God knows how much?

I hope this doesn't happen again to anyone else.

I had a wonderful experience at Fairytales Bridal in Nunawading! The ladies working in the store were so helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy. I had a bad experience at a different store were they made me very stressed and anxious but Fairytales was the complete opposite of that. Carmen helped me out during the fitting and Michelle (I think that was her name) put the order through for me and they were both so lovely. Thank you ladies for your help!

I had the most wonderful experience finding my perfect dress. The entire team were so lovely, friendly, helpful and welcoming to myself and my family.
I wasn’t sure of the style I wanted and felt a bit overwhelmed to begin but I was supported to help ease this. I chose some dresses to try on and my lovely bridal consultant MaryLee chose one for me too which ended up being the dress that I chose.
A couple of the other assistants offered advice while trying the different dresses and they were all so helpful. There is a beautiful range of dresses to choose from and amazing team to offer advice, knowledge and understanding.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From making my booking online, to a personal phone call to reschedule due to covid restrictions, to my confirmation text and email, and the appointment itself.
The team were very clear about the process and I am so happy with the amazing service.

Fantastic range of wedding dresses in all different sizes.
Incredibly dissapointed in the bridesmaid dress range. Largest size was a 12 which fit more like an 8.

Recommend for wedding dress, but not for the rest of the bridal party.

We loved our experience with Fairytales. From first just looking at wedding dresses to finding the right dress. Staff is super helpful and friendly. We needed alterations done, which was a easy process and efficient process. Can definitely recommend.

I had a brilliant experience at Fairytales Bridal Boutique! We’d been to three other places prior and had very little assistance or luck. I showed the assistant at fairytales a few I liked and she came back with an absolutely perfect Martina Liana dress! I tell every person who gets engaged where to go first. Don’t waste time going to other bridal shops. They have a huge range here and the service is brilliant

Staff are so lovely! There's no pressure like other bridal salons I've been too and the genuinely want to help you find your dress or help point you in the right direction.
I had Sarah and it was a great match, and yes, found my dress.

Maybe coz my appointment was the last one of the day and staff member was abit tired. Wanted to try on a dress which had a lace back but the lady that was helping me just helped me do up half of the dress and expected me to use my imagination to visualise the rest. And when another dress was abit loose I had to ask if I can have a clip applied and only then will she clip me up. Wasn't the best experience. But their dresses are quite pretty - If you're after a dress with no trains then this place isn't for you as majority of their dresses have trains. Would recommend booking your appointment earlier in the day, hope you get a better service than I did and Good Luck finding that dress ;)

Was mistreated terribly at the mooneeponds location. I really wanted a dress only this store possessed. I tried my luck and went to the nunawading location. The women were the total opposite and were so kind and caring. I was amazed and purchased my dream dress with alterations straight away during xovid and was promised alterations could be made.

My dress was delayed due to covid and arrived on time. The store was apologetic and was able to amend and render my dress within 2 weeks before my special day and made it fit perfectly. I would reccomend time and time again for future brides. Don't settle

I was pretty disappointed with my experience after hearing such good stories. The consultant was not really interested in being there or helping me. She didn't listen to what I was after and wasn't able to show me anything different - just one style of dress. It was obvious she had worked all day and being the last appointment on a Friday night, she just wasn't interested. It was my first time trying on bridal and it was just disappointing.
There were some beautiful dresses and in a variety of sizes to try on, but the prices include alterations, regardless of how much you need/want.

I came to this store after a bad experience with the Moonee Ponds store. I was hoping for a better experience at Nunawading and to re-try a dress I tried on in Moonee Ponds. Ester was my consultant at Nunawading and she was absolutely amazing.
I'm pretty indecisive when it comes to most things and dress shopping was no exception. Ester was very helpful, knowledgeable and made me feel really comfortable. Without Ester's help I probably still would be looking at dresses. Im so glad I went to the Nunawading store and found my dream dress there (ended up being different the one I tried at Moonee Ponds). Thank you Ester for your help

Amazingly helpful, and non judgemental. A great range of sizes to try on. And quite flexible with making some small changes to the dresses within reason.

So far Fairytales Bridal Boutique has helped not only me find my amazing wedding gown, but also for my best friend and my sister. I cannot recommend this store enough. Their dress selection, pricing, service/staff and store layout is beyond comparison. I would recommend any future bride to make this place your one and only stop for your wedding dress, you will not be disappointed!

Went in to book an appointment but left because the staff were just talking to each other and ignoring me and I also thought it could do with a clean.
EDIT: yes there would be no record as I said I left. Seems you just want to wipe your hand of a negative review rather than addresss the problems

My fiance came home crying after trying on dresses at your shop. She won't tell me what was said but has now suggested to cancel the wedding because she was insecure. Shame on you.

I went to Fairytales just before the lockdown, they had the best selection and knowledge by far. I only tried 4 dresses and found the one. I`m also a plus size so was a bit worried but there was no need. The girls are just amazing. Thank you and see you after the lock down.
