Etto Pasta Bar - Malvern

Very bad staff experience & food was not good too.we ordered pasta with chicken & got just 2 pieces of chicken in whole pasta.also taste was okay.we went there about 7: 45 pm & a girl almost packed up tables, and when we asked if we can dine in or not, she got upset & we were offered a table.

Okay for Italian food to be so cheap, good and filling this deserves 5/5. They give a lot of protein for the price as well (sometimes eating pasta, there’s only a little bit of prawns etc.) It’s self service. Not the most aesthetic location.

Ordered on uber eats, (7 min drive from my house). The pizza was room temperature and chewy, lasagne was obviously frozen because it was still stone cold in the middle.

Great to have an Etto close to home! I used to go to the South Melbourne a lot for their fresh pasta but now I can just go to the Malvern one. All the pasta dishes here are nice and I recommend adding the roasted mushrooms also. You can also buy fresh pasta to take home as well as sauces to use.

For the second time, the cream based salmon pasta was oily and flavourless. Margherita pizza was bland, chewy, hollow calories.

Love the pasta here and is my regular pasta joint. Love the truffle pasta sauce here. Quick, well priced and great portion sizes.

Went for lunch on Sunday, all of our dishes were just luke warm. All the dishes were very plain and flat I don't expect amazing food since it's a cheaper chain sort of place but it was beyond bad even considering this pretty sure the pasta portions were microwaved since it was hot some places and cold in others. I never put bad reviews but needed to bring this to attention for feed back sake.

Honestly deserved 1 star but will say 3 cheese pizza was just ok so not giving 1 star.

I love this place. I've had takeaway a bunch of times. Three cheese pasta, mac n cheese, amatriciana, all excellent, so tasty! And that garlic bread, holy wow! The best garlic bread, so good!

Ordered via uber eats. Had carobonara and mozerella sticks. Mozerella sticks and relish were delicious! Especially because I live nearby and they were still hot on arrival. Carbonara was good, pasta nicely cooked (they do their own fresh pasta at etto) although the sauce was a little heavy. Portion sizes of pasta are big which ends up in some waste - would be great if they did a 'small' portion size. They kindly include suggestions for how best to revive your meal if it has cooled on the journey to you. They also included a bonus bar of Green and blacks chocolate in my order, what a treat.

Did not receive all of our order, called twice to have the problem rectified and the rest of our order sent out but was told by the very unhelpful staff member that there was simply nothing they could do. How about send the rest of our order out? Common sense.

We normally order the classic margherita pizza and twice in a row, it was delivered cold. I know it’s winter, but using uber eats would normally take 2-3 min from Malvern Etto shop as we live close by. I felt we were served old pizza.

Shredded chicken salad is the best salad I have tasted in my life! How did I not discover this earlier!

Was feeling peckish and craving Etto Malvern’s pesto gnocchi. I’m Italian and this pasta was even yummier than my Nonna’s! 5 stars for an outstanding pasta bar. Great food, great staff and great ambience. Highly recommend

I just loved the food, this place has some of the best italian dishes I've ever had and omg the pastas amd lasagnas are super cheesylicious. Vive les pâtes XD

Pasta served in style and with passion. A vibrant place to have a meal with family. Every time I've been here there was a queue in front of me. Trendy crowd and fab music. Their staff always serve with a big smile.

Big portions, garlic bread was delicious but pasta was lacking just a little bit in flavour. Would eat there again though!

Pasta was fresh and delicious. This place gave a chill and cosy vibe, will definitely be back. Also, the cheesy garlic bread was a hit!

I absolutely love and adore ettos! It’s the perfect place to go to when you want some value for money pasta or when you can’t be bothered cooking!

Tried Bolgonese della nolla here.
The pasta sauce was delicious, one of the best I had forever.

However, the pasta itself is very (or less than) average, dry, difficult to chew.can’t imagine this is homemade pasta.

Service is average too. Hope the waitress / waiters can pay more attention to details.

I had a terrible customer service experience at this specific store. We ordered 2 pasta dishes to eat in, firstly it took about 3-5 minutes to get noticed as staff were to busy with uber eats orders. And once our meal came out the more Asian looking staff member of yours put the meals down and pointed to the cutlery, saying “ cutlery is over there if you want it “ when she literally just walked past it.

Not really the best first impression from your staff.
