NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE! I went to essential beauty to get my seconds pierced.bad idea.first of all, after only having my ears pierced for less than a day, the area around the piercing started to turn green, which means its fake jewellery.long story short I had an allergic reaction which cause me to have green urine (yes this is embarrassing to admit). This is absolutely ridiculous, you have lost a loyal customer.

I usually love essential beauty frankston, been a customer forever and never had any issues until today. I called this morning to see if the piercing person had some time during the day to check my helix piercing and change my piercing for me as the stud that was put in back in July wasn’t the correct size, it was causing blood blisters from the back of the stud rubbing and I was worried it was infected. They said I could come in at 10: 30am so I drove to Frankston, parked my car (paid parking) and went in, person at the desk said piercing person just took someone in come back in 15 to 20 minutes so I did but when I came back they were both happily chatting then the piercer said she doesn’t have time (no one was in the store, it was empty but me) I just needed her to check it so they said I had to book an appointment which they could have told me over the phone and made it easier for me. The lady did look at my piercing quickly and told me to rub tea tree oil on a bump, clearly she didn’t look because the bump was a Blood blister from the stud. Ended up buying a hoop to change myself at home but the lovely person who helped me with the hoop selection you are an awesome person! Please do not follow the rude customer service your fellow team member displayed today because you’ve lost a long time customer and cost me my time and wasted money on parking -. -

Should change your website policy - If you are unsure, pop into your local Essential Beauty and chat with one of our staff members (wrong)

If you purchase jewellery in salon, we are happy to change it over for you at no cost! (Again wrong) since I brought the hoop and really needed the stud out cause the blood blisters kept coming from the rubbing and popping so I was constantly cleaning up blood.

Really sad that I have to find a new beauty salon, I’m going to miss Brooke who was always amazing but the treatment today really showed me if I’m not paying for it then I don’t get the fake customer service attitude.

I have had my 10th and final appointment here at essential beauty. Yesterday, I went in for a piercing appointment and arrived only 4 minutes late, and the person at the desk (Ella) was extremely rude and horrible, saying due to me being late I have to come back in 2 hours. She had 0 compassion and was just brutally rude, she showed no professionalism. When I came back after the 2 hours, Ella (thankfully) was gone. But the girls that were there were talking about me to each other and I felt really uncomfortable and not made to feel welcome at all. These workers need to learn the basics of customer service. It's not that hard to show simple human decency - especially to paying customers.

Someone at essential beauty pierced my septum, they were extremely rude and was very rough with my head, pieced it crooked and through my cartilage didnt even look for my sweet spot.

Got my septum done twice at essential, first by the owner of the store and then by another lady.the owner didn't properly look for my sweet spot (where is should be pierced) and rushed through it, didn't tell me when she was putting the needle through which gave me a huge shock it was super painful as it was pierced where it shouldn't be.it was down extremely low and really painful, and it was on a diagonal angle, not straight through.she rushed my piercing and seemed to not care.second time got it re-pierced by a lady named Brooke and it was so much better, she walked me through it, spent time actually checking for the sweet spot and gave me warning for the needle, and it was done properly and looked so much better, recommend asking for her if you're going in for a septum i was really happy with it after.

Could not recommend this place more highly. My daughter came in for her seconds today and she's not a fan of needles. She felt a bit dizzy and off after having one ear done and every staff member there were so patient and kind, gave her some water and some time to do the second ear. If its your first or your 20th piercing the staff are amazing and give their time to every customer. Thankyou

My daughter got cartilage pierced recently. The ball of the earing fell last night because it was not placed very well. When we went back to placed again, the lady in front said it's not their fault and we have to re-done it and pay the full price. Not proffesional. Never recommend this place and their service.

Been here twice to get my lashes done after the first time i promised i wouldn't come back but thought id give it a second try and totally regretted that decision, will definitely not be coming back again.

I have just recently finished a full week of work experience at essential beauty Frankston, all the girls are so welcoming and so kind! Working here for a week has shown me on how much work the girls do to ensure customers have the best experience constantly. The girls will always ensure clients are happy with everything. We are constantly clean and double checking everything is well cleaned before the clients enter the room. Everything is done thoroughly and professional, mo shortcuts are taken this ensures that everyone is happy with there visit! I highly recommend to take a visit to essential beauty in frankston!

I get my brows waxed here regularly, it's a hit and miss situation.
Sometimes they do a really good job other times a really bad job.
Unfortunately, once again, they did a really bad job.
Think it's time to move on.

Terrible, on the 17th January 2020,5.45 PM I had my ears and nose waxed.

This morning I'm still pulling out the blue wax from both ears.

After the waxing the best practice is too use eucalyptus oil to remove the wax.

This is a huge fail.

I got my nose re-pierced today at Frankston, the room was dirty, and the lady that did my piercing dropped one of the gloves on the floor, picked it up and used it like it has never been on the dirty floor.

My 14 year old daughter had her 2nd’s done at this store. Upon returning to the car my daughter took one look at her ears & burst into tears. The piecing had been placed incorrectly. The manager then proceeded to try to deflect the blame onto the first piercings, again done at Frankston.

There was no mention that her first holes were in the incorrect position until we returned to the store & if this is the case the seconds should have been placed accordingly, not with a visibly difference gap between the 2 piercings on each side. When authorising the pen marks, my daughter & I would have been looking at the placement of the seconds not the gap that was in between the firsts & seconds on each side. The manager did not want to listen, all she wanted to do was talk over the top of me & blame the customer for a job that had been poorly performed.

When trying to deflect the situation onto the first piercings what the manager did not realise was that the first piercings were also done at Frankston also, so they have not only incorrectly pierced my child one but twice now in my opinion.

I found the manager very unprofessional, upon returning to the store my daughter was visibly distort & had been in tears & the manager’s attitude proceeded to further traumatise my daughter.

What the staff & owner of this salon do not understand is that the managers failure to handle this situation correctly gives every Essential Beauty store a bad name. I have had my eyebrows done at Mornington & I’m not sure I will be returning to that store either.

Further to this instead of the store or head office calling or contacting me via email after asking for my details, I had to contact them to be told that the store owner had spoken to the staff & they were happy the piercing were correct. I believe maybe they should have bother to contact the customer as promised via phone or email, as only one side of the storey has been heard. I have since paid a professional piercer to remove the incorrect earring & have the piercing corrected and yes they agreed that the piercing was placed in the incorrect position……. It was not far out, however due to the bruising caused by the piercing gun used it may have appeared to the manager that the piercing concerned may have been placed correctly (I give her the benefit of the doubt here).
This whole situation could have been handled in a different manner, not leaving a 14 year old child extremely distort.

All it would have taken was a little bit of good will & for the staff to offer to re-pierce one ear & place the piercing in the correct position. It seems to be the practice even for beauty services to take your money first & carry out treatment 2nd. I ask “Where does this leave you if the work is unsatisfactory? ”

Upon speaking with others & reading the reviews, please be very weary of having any piercing or beauty services carried out @ Essential Beauty Frankston.

Please note: I gave head office & Essential Beauty @ Frankston ample opportunity to contact me via phone or email to fix this situation prior to posting this review.

We’re waiting for our 7yo daughter to wake up in hospital because the stud they used to pierce her ears was so small it lodged itself in the middle of her ear and had to be surgically removed.

Update:
8 months later and she still remembers going to hospital with a bad ear. Her ear is fine now but she’s too scared to get them re-done. Whenever anyone talks about ear piercing around her it makes her feel uncomfortable.

DO NOT GO HERE - customer service i received today from michelle was awful, i was over charged $60: 0 having eyelashes removed and left with so many of my natural lashes pulled, some false ones still attached and so much glue still stuck on my eyes i will never go here ever again
