Emporio Pizza and Pasta reviews
69Great service today, they were very busy, but we did not have to wait long to be seated. Order was taken an food came out fairly quickly. Staff were pleasant and food was delicious.
Service was the worst I had. Requested water before our dinner was served and I even placed the bottle upside down to call attention. Water never came or offered.
The customer service was fantastic. Having IBS means there's things I can't eat, when I asked my usual questions about the dish I wanted the lady that served me knew straight away what could be done and didn't make me feel like I was being a pain, very accommodating.
When my food came out the chefs had put the salad dressing on the side (I forgot to query the dressing) and the server asked me if I would like the dressing or not. Having the dressing automatically on the side and being asked if I wanted it was very much appreciated.
The steak was on the specials board so I wasn't expecting quality but it was actually quite a nice piece of meat, cooked fabulously and the prawns were super juicy and tasted fresh. Even without the sauce, dressing or spices on the chips the meal was still very tasty, not bland at all.
Can't fault the place, would recommend.
Absolutely stunning staff all very friendly and pleasant very friendly.
My wife got the steak that was cooked perfectly and was so delicious and mouth watering perfectly seasoned.
I had the carbonara it was just as delicious as the steak was not overly heavy like most other carbonara.
Out of 10 I would easily say 10/10 highly recommend
Food are delicious.some staffs are friendly, where as some are not.and when asked for water, took a long time to deliver.
Highly recommended restaurant in crown towers.
Chicken Parma, Chicken pesto pasta and Mojito cocktail is pretty good.
This place is walkable distance (5-10 mins) from south bank.
Highly recommended
In December also they run specials with a $15 (chicken, fish or 150g steak) and $20 specials (300g steaks) with sides and includes drink (soft/hard) + 4hr parking at Crown. So, this is incredibly cheap for this time of the year.
Great food and ambiance. Little noisy, but great for get togethers. Reasonably priced choices are available.
Steak can be improved! We ordered medium rare but it’s a little too hard. The fish is good. Staff is pretty helpful! You can very recent price at a nice dining place near the casino. What more can u ask for!:)
Good service. Good value with the $15 meal offer. Come with complimentary drink & free 4hr multi level car parking at Crown.
One of the worst Italian food restaurant's I have been to.
Do your self a favour and go eat elsewhere
The service at this place is brilliant. You cannot fault it. I've never had to wait for a drink or to order.
Top notch service. The $15 deals are absolutely worth it, though they don't serve the oxcheek anymore.
Went there Thursday afternoon around 1.30pm to eat with a friend. Firstly, table service was extremely slow. Ordered two very basic meals - chicken parma with vegetables and chips and a Calabrese pizza.
Chicken parma was the worst I've ever had given you're paying $29 for what was not cooked fresh but rather a frozen breast schnitzel which had clearly been microwaved as it still was so cold through the centre. What constituted "vegetables" was 2 stalks of broccolini which had been chargrilled resulting in a very burnt flavour throughout.
The Calabrese pizza toppings were almost raw - clearly undercooked and the pizza itself was not even hot.
What an embarrassment to Crown to have a restaurant like this where even the chef can't get 2 basic meals up to scratch. Will never visit again.
There is currently a promotion to get their Tbone steak for less than $20 and a meal for $15. No service charge for the promotion. But there is a service charge for for a regular meal from what we heard from the other table.
Food is fresh and good value. Service is prompt without being intrusive. Due to the location on the casino floor, children mustn't be allowed as we didn't see any. They have good specials.
Certainly a good place to enjoy a nice portion of Black Angus beef steak. Where else you can spend $19 for a steak with chips and garden vege plus a complimentary glass of beer or wine. Just a hint, do not spend extra $6 for 4 small prawns. So if you looking to buy a good dinner for your friends or families. This is the right place to done in.
Tried the $29 Frutti Di Mare seafood pizza, and two of the current running specials $15 crispy skinned salmon and slow braised ox cheek - specials include a drink e.g. House wine. Pizza was ok - better than standard fast foods, though I'd recommend spending the same for better at Gradi instead. Between these two specials go for the ox - tender and full of flavour, worth more than it costs. Salmon was cooked a bit too long for my liking (though not thoroughly overcooked), and doesn't quite work with the accompanying risotto, both of which were lacking seasoning, but at least delivers what it promises with crispy skin. Service was good. So overall, ok, not great but not bad either.
Great place to grab a pizza right in the middle of Southbank.good service and a great range of gourmet pizzas all tasty crispy and fresh. We had the seafood pizza and the chicken with avocado hard to say which was the best but both fantastic
Cannot recommend this place more for their pasta dishes, I had the most delicious duck and beetroot pasta dish, a little bit expensive, but considering your at the Crown Casino.it was A+. Biggest issue was they don't allow to split the bill, not sure why this was an issue for Emporio Pizza and Pasta but it was!
