Eltham Lower Park reviews
57Soft grass, bins for doggo poo bags (and rubbish), clean air, friendly people, 10/10 would throw ball for doggo again
Fantastic day for the kids and adults. The little train rides are excellent value, great playground. Clean toilets.
What more could anyone want.
Quite possibly one of the gems that make Eltham special. We’ve enjoyed this park and the mini train with our child. Highly recommend for those not fortunate to have a special place in your suburb.
Two flying foxes. 6 swings. Spinner. Slide. Sandpit. Water play. Sign language plaques. Climbing wall. Huge ovals. Miniature train sometimes. BBQ. Perfect.
Great park with a few lovely walking paths along the creek and parkland around it. With an open pitch for Football and an enclosed pitch used for Cricket, Lacrosse an enclosed dog park this is a popular, well used community park. Also home to the Eltham minute railway two playgrounds and a BBQ area. The only downside is that in the peek of summer and many weekends (particularly when the railway is open) it can attract more visitors than the already large Carparks can handle and often creates a lot of congestion in and out of Eltham.
Great place to visit with the kids and family. The train ride is only $3.00 and the staffs are very friendly. Great place to do the BBQ also
Great park.the playground is more for smaller kids but that's fine.massive cricket field and nice walking tracks at the back towards the river.
Excellent day out with my little boy, train rides are awesome and even though it's very busy, the line moves quickly and the staff (volunteers) are super helpful and nice, great variety of trains running too
We've been going there for the past 10yrs. Lots of improvements done over the years. New toilet block next to the playground, sails over the picnic area and some foods vans are there regularly. The pony horse rides are still there also. Great place for a day out.
Have a mini train ride, go to the playground (mostly for younger ones), go for a bike ride.you can choose.
The kids absolutely love the little trains and having a pony ride. Great enclosed play area suitable for young children as well as the older ones. The volunteers do an amazing job keeping the trains going. Highly recommended.
Great place to go for family fun. Miniature rail only costs $3 per ride and playground is fantastic. They had pony rides for children today for only $5.
Such a great local parks. The miniature railway has been there since I was a kid and still draws crowds whenever open. Off-leash dog walking and access to trails on the other side of the Yarra
Place is very good, very effortable for the train ride. It has also the pony rides for the kids which is excellent. Rides sometime get busy and on school holidays the waiting times can get up to 30 minutes. Good place for picnic on evenings, there is kids park witg some activities.
Nice walks and BBQs can be had here. Bike riding and train rides too with the Diamond Valley Railway. A perfect park.
It's a great place to take kid's if there like train rides and playing ball games and kicking the football on the field
Great walks, busy dog park/meeting spot on one of the ovals but have to work around the various sports clubs that use the oval too.
