El Churro Cafe reviews
55 Amazing place for desserts and drinks!
With a nice decor and atmosphere i usually come here to grab something sweat after dinner and a drink! Highly recommend the Sangria cocktails, they are amazing and go down very well.
Great place to catch up with a friend. Loved the $10 combo of churros and Spanish hot chocolate. Big tables which dwarfed the two of us but we were left in peace to have a good chat.
Super cute place with delicious sweets! Came here for afternoon tea with my partner and we had churros and jam doughnuts. Doughnuts were freshly made and warm and the churros in milk chocolate dipping sauce were very tasty.
Service was very friendly and the place was quaintly decorated. Prices also very reasonable! Will definitely be coming back.
Delicious! Great food, generous portions and lovely people (uber eats let down this great place with their slow driver, but would highly recommend you order this great food for a family feast - followed by hot churros donuts and choc dipping sauce:)
I enjoyed the spanish hot chocolate first time I dined there but within the last two visit I am very disappointed with the quality of the spanish hot chocolate, there were bubbles and was served at a boiling temperature, it did not have the soft texture that it used to when I first visited. Overall I hope the shop maintains its consistency.
The churros do not taste like the spanish ones but are still pretty good. There are vegan chocolate options.
WOW WOW WOW! The Churros are just like the ones in Spain - San Fermin and the seafood Paella is to die for.
Thanks Dee for your amazing hospitality.
We ordered the churro mini sampler, the churros could have been in the fryer for a bit longer and they weren’t as crispy. Would have also preferred a dark chocolate dip instead of milk, and the use of strawberry jam filling was a peculiar choice
Great atmosphere, excellent staff and delicious churros. Love having the chicken quesadillas here.
Nice little coffee/ churros cafe. Food is decently priced, came down after seeing a voucher on groupon for $15 for 2 corn toasted bread with coffee/ hot chocolate each. And $9.50 for the 6 churros and dipping sauce.
Was a bit surprised as the photo on groupon showed something that looked like Arepas, but we were given 2 pieces of toast each (no complaints, it still tasted good) it was quiet inside.
The hot chocolate tasted really good, as did the scrambled eggs on toast. The service was good, and Staff are nice. They have a good collection of tea, including English breakfast, special Earl Grey, Chamomile Lavender, Moroccan Mint, Green Jasmine, Chai, Fairytale, Black Lemon Berry, Sencha Blossoms, Lemon Grass Ginger Goji Berry, Rooibos Vanilla and Fruit. They also offer Paellas, Empanadas, and other lunch itemsb other then churros. There is parking available in front, or around the corner of the cafe.
Freshly prepared chrros, larger size! Also, try Spanish hot chocolate! It is smooth and has a real chocolate flavour. It's definitely good from normal chocolate drinks that you get elsewhere - which is basically just milk!
Paella was okay. Maybe it's my taste, I like a little spice in it. Yet to try other dishes but I would definitely recommend visiting this place!
Good food, nice that they have outdoor seating. Food is tasty and nice especially the churros. It’s so good.
Waitress refused to process our Groupon voucher multiple times even though it was clearly within valid date and time of the fine print. Started to make excuses which made no sense at all.
As someone who can't drink due to medical reasons I was so happy to find somewhere that did mocktails in the melbourne heat, and had a lovely red sangria. I also got the icecream churro bowl and their churros are decadently soft and drowning in cinnamon sugar. Staff were friendly.
Ordered two coffees here and never received them despite our order being taken, paid for and the fact there were 4 staff members who seemed to be much more interested in chatting amongst themselves.
When we went to get our money back, as we couldn’t wait any longer, we were asked if we had actually ordered! We explained yes we had and yes we had already paid. They didn’t seem particularly sorry about missing our order. Disappointing.
