53From breakfast, dinner and afternoon drinks, we were made welcome every visit. The whole service team are friendly and knowledgeable about their gorgeous wine cellar. And you will never forget how delicious the food is!

Came for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was located just behind Southbank and had a classy and pleasant ambience. All the dishes we tried were delicious including the desert eclairs we finished off with.
Since this was a wine bar, we left it up to our waitress to recommend and wasn't disappointed. Especially impressed with the restaurant's choice of using local produce and wine as well along with the recognition for female wine makers in their menu.

Small Plates and Large Plates were very good. Pastry looked gorgeous, but they were disappointing.

Very tasty menue from share plates to side dishes, to main meal, excellent presentation, restaurant ambiance confortable, friendly enthousiastic staff. We had a natural wine from "Latta wine" very hapy to see it on the menu.
Food is good, but takes really long for it to come out. Waitress forgot to put our order in, after she cleared our appetisers she had asked if we wanted desserts.at that point is when she had put out main orders in.we have finished our mains for 1 hour and mains were still not out yet. Do not reccomend if you’re hungry.
I have ordered room service and this is what I got cold chips with no flavour and cauliflower soup with no flavour and just a bucket of thickened cream. The service said they can deliver cocktails and then refused to do it. Very disappointed

The dishes were overall really great! The restaurant stresses on local produce of Victoria, other than the oysters, which could be from Tasmania or NSW. Most importantly, decent bread and butter.
I had a glass of the Fairbank Syrah from Bendigo with the meal and really enjoyed it! They source their wine locally as well.
Atmosphere: A bit dark during the day but I believe at night it could be a pretty romantic venue!
I read a few comments about the service - our waiter and waitress was great and we have no complaints but they did forget to put through an order. We didn't chase it up as we were really full but if you ordered just the right amount, it might be a good idea to keep track of it. Other than that, throughout our meal, they were very attentive and we did not feel neglected.
My partner dishes came out when mine were already finished. Staff is not really attentive, food is so so. However, nice ambiance and convenient location for people living nearby.

It serves authentic Victorian flavours but with the hospitality hybrid of Europe's five-star standard and Australia's warmth. Sophisticated, dimly-lit and as full-bodied as it's wines, this place deserves more acclaim! Manager Alex Bostan and his crew with Chef Ritesh Patil and his are a dynamic and powerful duo and orchestrate this space harmoniously without fault.
