Purchased a fine guitar September from the wonderful and patient staff, passionate and knowledgeable. And patiently provided numerous fantastic guitars to try out before I decided. I’m not a good guitarist and I was treated very kindly great peoples, great service I’ve had a couple of neglected guitars set up with excellent results. Thought I had some problems with my Telecaster after it was setup Rick gave me a call and asked if I could bring it back in this morning Rick went over the guitar and put my mind to rest. Great service thanks Rick.

I’m not 100% sure of his name (maybe Dan) but i spoke to this guy over the phone about the Danelectro Baritone and he was extremely helpful in helping explaining the difference between guitars, and even enjoyed Phoebe Bridgers as much as I did. Extremely helpful over the phone service and very excited for my guitar to arrive. Love it! Very competitive in their prices as well

Absolute legends. Have gone there with 2 guitars that won’t work and both times within 5 minutes got em working perfectly. Didn’t charge a dime and didn’t make me feel stupid for what might’ve been an easy fix. Staff are super welcoming and know what they’re doing. 10 stars x

After a long hiatus from playing I recently decided to dive back in and purchase the kind of guitar that I had always dreamed of owning when I was a teenager. After visiting a couple of large stores with walls of new guitars on display and not being drawn to anything, the decision was made to head into Echotone. Upon entering the store my partner and I were greeted warmly by Justin who took the time to show me a range of guitars and even made phone calls to try and track down an ES 335 that he thought I’d be interested in, all the while never once making me feel like a noob or out of place for being a novice. Then this evening Matthew provided further 5 star service by staying late for me so that I could collect my new Gibson ES 335.

If you’re in the market for a Guitar be it new, used or vintage or any accessories and you want to support a proper small business that employs a great team and is as honest as the day is long, then this is your shop.

Went in knowing little about which guitar strings to get and the legend working there was super helpful. I really love the Augustine red classical strings he recommended.

Good to do business with. Katoh KF-CEQ arrived & after playing it am very pleased with the Guitar. This is my 2nd Flamenco CEQ I still have the first one some 2 years old now & with different strings both sound different however both a good sound. I would recommend anyone looking for a Flamenco Guitar put this one on the list.

I’ve just received my Cordoba 21T tenor ukelele. I only ordered it on Dec 21st so in no way expected it to arrive today on the 24th during the Christmas rush but it did. I have bought it without trying it solely relying on YouTube demos and the really helpful female employee from Echo Tone who answered my call and gave me the time and lots of great info that helped me make my decision. I’ve now had a little play test with the Uke and it’s tone is just what I was hoping for. Thank you for great knowledgeable service and such amazingly quick delivery from your state to mine. Oh and they swapped the high G with a low G string as II requested. Great early Christmas present to myself:)

Brought my 13yo in this afternoon. We had a look ariund at the vintage gear. He had a play of one of the guitars. One of the staff came and jammed with him a little. Had abit of a chat. Picked up a couple of picks. Great afternoon all around! Will be back to check out more vintage gear in the future.

Don’t waste your time and money on this overpriced placed. They don’t update their website.just buy online from reverb or marketplace even.

I’ve loved coming into this shop for a long while. Great selection & usually knowledgeable staff. I would’ve liked to have rated them higher but my last experience has unfortunately knocked a couple of stars off.
I took my guitar in for a service on a Monday, & was assured that it would be ready by the end of the week (so I didn’t pay extra for priority service). It got to Friday and nobody had let me know that it wouldn’t be ready. After following it up I hear It hadn’t even been looked at yet. Missed a gig because of it. Monday came around & still no word, had to call them again. Guitar service & set up was fine though, when I did finally get it back. Communication & honouring commitment could’ve been better.

Bought a late 90’s Jaguar for my partner, shipped and delivered interstate and received within 48hours of order. Seriously impressive. And the guitar setup was top notch.
