East Coast Car Rentals - Melbourne Airport

Great and easy rental company. Me and my family used it for the first time on our trip to Melbourne. Simple, clear and enjoyable experience. Got a bit of an upgrade as the car we had requested was no longer available. Easy pick up, clear options of insurance, no one pushes you to buy. Simple transfer service.

Our shuttle bus driver Terry was fabulous! Friendly and happy! Ladies at the depot were equally friendly, and it was efficient and easy for pick up, car was clean and comfortable.

Never again will i use this mob again $1000 deposit had to be left on a $69 dollar hire not stating that online.which was debited straight from my account upon returning car was told the $1000 will go back into my account between 3and 5 working days customer service was disgusting.

Shuttle service was quick and convenient to pick us up from airport to car location. Paperwork process was quick.
Car return was very confusing and I was called the next to ask if I had returned the car and charged an additional day. This was quickly resolved and overcharge refunded.

My go to company for car rentals when in Australia. The cars are always updated and in good condition. Booking online is a breeze and administration during car collection and return is fast and efficient. Costs are reasonable and the add ons are worth if. Great service always.

The staff that helped me were very friendly. The handover and drop off was very swift. I was able to have a safe and lovely trip back home to see my family.
The only thing I would have liked more attention on was the transport back to the airport. I wasn’t made readily aware of the complimentary shuttle bus back to the airport. However, I also could have asked more questions about that too. I’m sure the lovely staff would have obliged with helpful answers ️
I would recommend this service to others and would book with ECCR again ️

Pretty much all good except a real downer was there was no after hours pickup service, esp after i was assured had plenty of time, after prepaying and they knew flight details and that i was delayed I expected better service to help get car on day we arrived, instead wasted half day of 2 week holiday to get car next day, but lesson learnt and i would likely use again

Very very bad experience, wrong price, wrong car, total rip-off on insurance, don’t even think about to try hire a car on unknown or small company like east coast, I suggest people hire from bigger company like Avis, thrifty, budget etc.

On time shuttle arrival and good staff. Car was relatively new. However we got a MG which was such a pain with low acceleration. Never ever buy or rent a cheap Chinese car was the lesson!

Cars are clean and well presented. Pick-up and drop-off service from Melbourne Airport is quick, comfortable and efficient. However, the operation hours are limited on weekends and evenings. Ride services cost btn $20-$30 from their depot. Reception staff seemed uncertain about who was responsible for what but this will improve as the business ramps up after covid19. I did get the car I booked on this occasion which was a pleasant bonus.

Breaks wan’t working properly as well as wipers. Car was very dirty from inside, seats was very filthy. Not going to recommend to anyone

I was in Melbourne for the formula 1, decided to go with eastcoast car rental. Great service, car was clean and free shuttle back to airport once you drop off the car.

Good service, nice that they have their own a bus service between the airport and their office.

Car was clean and tidy. Customer service was a good experience. We were picked up from airport and driven to the office. The only thing I would say is the drop off time in the afternoon should be extended as there is no transport back to the airport after 5: 30pm.

Not located at the airport BUT the shuttle bus was quick with a really personable driver. All up I got a top price, top car and top service. I'd absolutely use these guys again.

Have to say, one of the easiest, friendliest and best value car hire I’ve used in years! Shuttle arrived within mins of my arrival at the airport pickup spot, quick trip to depot, friendly, smiling efficient staff, (no queues), and a brand new car to drive for the weekend - at literally a third of the cost of other car hire companies.
Will definitelly use again- the big car hire companies could learn something from EastCoast!

The vehicle was almost new. Very clean and well presented. Staff were friendly although some could do with a little smile. Very happy with the company and would recommend them to friends and family.

Terry was awesome! He gets all customers involved through friendly convo when picked up from the airport.
Reception made picking up and dropping off vehicle process very easy. Regina was awesome when I had questions in regards to my rental vehicle.
