East Coast Car Rentals - Melbourne Airport

Do not trust them, we arrived to Melbourne airport expecting a shutter to pick us up, with two kids we waited for 2 hours and we kept calling them as requested on their email and no answer. We caught the taxi to the car hire area no car. I called and called and they have ignored us. Do not trust this company.

Driver of shuttle bus dropped us off at the complete opposite terminal at the airport and we had to walk to the other terminal which took 10 to 15 minutes to walk to, and we were almost late for boarding.

Staff refused to pick us up at airport and full of bullshiit lied to us. We booked the latest shuttle bus which is at 20: 00, but the staff called me around 19: 50, when he’s on the half way to the airport, saying we need to get ourselves an Uber to the car rental because he’s off at 20: 00. So if you guys are closed at 20: 00, why do you offer an 20: 00 shuttle bus? And since we get there with an Uber, the store is closed as well, so we didn’t get our car and wasted money on Uber too. And there’s no refund available for my car rental deposit neither even though that was apparently the staffs fault. JUST DONT RENT FROM THIS PLACE

Flight was delayed had a horrible time at the airport, until we were picked up in the shuttle bus by Terry! So friendly, welcoming and informative. I wish Terry could drive me all around Australia he was so pleasant.

Absolutely dreadful service! Been waiting 40 minutes. No One at desk answering calls! Will never use again!

Para is such a lovely lady, we had her sending us back to the airport when we finished our trip in Melbourne. It is so delightful to spend time with her, she made me and my partner laugh so much and the trip to airport felt so short. It is rare to see someone like Para nowadays who is so passionate and willing to make sure the clients are having a great time even towards the end of their trip in Melbourne. The weather in here is cold but Para made us feel so warm! Thank you Para! I will book this rental service again when I come back to Melbourne next year! Can’t wait to see you again Para!

From the moment I walked out of the airport terminal the instructions were to the point and easy to follow. The shuttle driver was funny and engaging and the counter staff were so friendly and helpful. On my return the service and smiles continued with a shuttle heading to the airport within 5 minutes. I am a very happy customer and will certainly recommend this service to my friends.

Really good rates and an excellent pick up and drop off experience. Plus the shuttle bus drivers were both really positive and helpful and provided lots of fun banter on the trips to and from the airport.

Affordable, reliable and simple.
We rented a car from the off-airport site in Melbourne. Process was easy, and getting the shuffle to and from the airport was very easy (had a great instruction format with photos to make it straight forward to get to the pick up area). We’ll use again!

The car collection process was super easy and fast. The insurance package provided was fair and provides complete coverage. The car was new and clean.

The car returning process was super easy too.
